It’s a boy!

:-P :lol: Time flies. I can’t believe I have only two more weeks. I went to see doctor on Monday, she said I have already dilated 1 cm. I want my baby can stay in my tummy until the due date. It’s because he may gain more weight and more nutrition from me during this time. Of course, nobody knows when he’ll arrive in this world. Only God knows. Anyway, I’ve packed and ready to go.

BTW, Is that picture is your four-month-old son? 眼仔 look-look , 好精靈呀!

Hi all mamas,

Do you know any daycare centers in San Francisco city? My son is now 21 months old and I'm looking for a daycare since I need to go back to work early next month. I've searched for 1 month already and some of the good ones do not have opening now. They put me into waiting list but I don't think that they can accommodate to accept my son on time. If you know any, please let me know. I live in Inner Richmond, any nearby in Richmond, Sunset or Chinatown is perfect.

Most likely, I need to pass on this gathering... my hubby's aunt has just passed away and he needs to help his cousin to take care of the funderal stuff. And, my baby daughter is still sick, she has been coughing for over 1 month and we need to take her to see the pedi next week again...plus I'm still looking for daycare for my son... also, need to prepare to go back to work next month...very busy recently. Enjoy yourselves and keep me posted for the next gathering.

sorry to hear that yr girl is sick. does she have fever? is she coughing very seriously? i hope not.
i still remember my son caught a flu with fever and seriously coughing when he's also 4 months old which was a couple weeks after he's recovered from his chicken-pox. he coughed so much that he threw up almost all the milk that he took. my 99 who was a nurse worried so much that he would get pnemonia although he didn't. however, his weight dropped a lot and it's hard to him to catch up his weight since then.

as we're going to a wedding at 1:00pm on 12/15, we might not take our boy to chinese school and have an early lunch in san jose or milpitas.
if u're gonna meet in these areas, we might pick the same place for brunch and say hi to u.

Sorry, I may confuse you. Actually, I live in Sacramento. My parents-in-laws live in Daly City. I used to live in S.F. Four years ago, my husband and I moved to Sacramento. Before I got pregnant, we always went to bay area.
I’m looking forward to seeing my baby’s face. Now, I’m waiting…

Good to hear you are still breastfeeding. I’m planning to do that too. Hopefully I’ll success.

Thanks. That's my 4 month old son ah.

You already dilated 1 cm ... that's pretty fast ah ... I remember I broke water at home 1 days before my due day then my husband took me to hospital, but I only dilated 1cm by that time. People always said 1st BB used to be born latter than the due day, so wish your BB stay in your tummy longer and gain more weight la. If you got everything ready for your BB, just relax and enjoy the rest of your "not a mom" day ah ... you will be extremely busy ga la. Wish you go through a smooth and fast labor and have a healthy BB la.

Wow, I also live in Elk Grove! I live near I-5 though. I think we live pretty close together. I take my son to the park near Raley's (on Poppy....something...road) from time to time. I'm a stay at home mom. How about you? We can get together and have a cup of coffee (or juice for you) sometimes

the most popular places for chinese/asian food in milpitas are in milpitas square or the ulfer center on barber lane.
if for dim-sum, there's may-flower in milpitas square and ABC ("fu lum") in ulfer center. however, both are pretty crowded during weekends. either u make a reservation (if they take it) or u go earlier (maybe by 11:30) is better.

Gathering this Saturday

For this Saturday, I think we have 5A5C, and SY-Mom may drop by. I'll check if ABC or Mayflower in Milpitas Square take reservations. If not, we just go to Mayflower(Chi King Far) at Great Mall like last time. Anyway, If no places take reservation, I can be there at 11:30am to get a number first. Then you can come at around noon. Anyway, I'll check first and post a confirmation here by Friday.
