1. New contract = the new DH contract form obtainable from HK Imm Dept which you and DH need to complete and sign.
2. Letter of Guarantee = a form obtainable from Indo Consulate, which employer has to fill in (in English), undertaking to pay for cost of air tickets, full pay, full holidays & leave.
3. The Indo Consulate speaks in Cantonese with Employer, and in Indonesian with Indo DH, during interview.
4. If all depends on your maid. Which is why I say I only encourage my enemies to employ underpaid DH. If you underpay the DH, you have to pay a lot more to the agent, and you are always fearful that you will get caught.
Usually, even if your DH is underpaid for 1st contract, and you promise to pay her full $3270 pm in 2nd contract, or if you are good to her in everything else except for underpaying her, your DH will not tell, because of the $$ involved in 2nd contract.

I want to do the same Renew the contract withour going thr the agent. I still pay 3670 for my maid I just don't want the agenet to get so much from my maid. Can you tell me how to do it?
To renew contract without going through the agent,
1. Pls pm me your e-mail add and I will send you the word.doc file. The procedures, list of documents required by Indo Consulate, and draft of required letters are all there.
2. Although you plan to offer the Indo DH $3670 pm cash, apart from paying the DH tax (which itself equals $9600/2y = $400 pm), I would advise you to write $3270 on the new DH contract itself, instead of $3670. This is just to protect yourself.
