Andrea didn't want to play flash cards last week. So I stopped 1 week and start again with 1 set of cards only (百科圖 + English) this Monday. She enjoys playing it again, thanks God!
As I didn't 100% follow up GD's method, base on the books, yes, we need to change the cards 5 days (or show 15 times to baby).
for me, I show 百科圖 (pictures) first and later show English words of the 百科圖. So I'll show the cards (both 百科圖 + English) for 10 days. hehe, maybe this is the reason why Andrea doesn't want to play flash card with me 'coz she feel bore with the english words :-P

if you've time, "卡爾威特的教育" by 笛藤出版 is a very good book to read (哈佛女孩劉亦婷 was raised per this method). I start GD's method after I read this book, it gave me lots of idea/inspiration to teach baby.

Andrea's 鼻水, 好了沒有? If she only gets 鼻水 when wake up, would it be the air-conditioner too cold? Babies all like to 'fu 被' when sleeping. I started to give Anson long sleeves when sleeping after he got sick last time. Just to avoid any chance of letting him sick again. Hope Andrea will get well soon!
Those books and cards you bought really sound very good. Thanks for your information. I think I will go there to see if anything is suitable for Anson and myself.
You must be very happy to learn that Andrea recognises some of the pictures you taught her before. It's rewarded! :lol:
I've taught Anson about 4x animal cards, 4x fruit and veggie cards, 6x 日常用品 cards, he now can recognise all of them. Sometimes I play the game with him and place some of the cards on the floor and ask him to pick the one I said, he can always pick the right one!
But I started to teach him chinese words few weeks ago, it seems that he doesn't have the good concentration as before, and the progress is very low. But lucky, he still has interest on the new cards I show him.

agree with u, Andrea also wears long sleeves pajamas when sleep, maybe last week it's a bit dry so her nose needs to get use to the dry weather lah. Anyway, it's really happy that no more running nose.
For the China bookshop, don't expect too much ar, u know, I'm quite 要求低
(it's a small bookshop, however, the shopkeeper in Mongkok 9/F are very helpful, u can ask him the list of BK mom as reference to buy the book - there's lots of BK mom order from this bookshop)
Natasha is a bit better now, instead of 3-4 times watery poo poo, it has changed to 1-2 times watery-tofu-like poo poo. Still don't know why she keeps having so many times of poo poo and in these texture.
Fever had gone for already 5 days, no sign of rashes, already drinking soya milk and congee. I guess if she's not getting any better later today, will probably bring her to the doc again tommorrow.

Natasha will indicate me when she wants to poo poo, but this morning she was too sleepy that she only "ng" twice (but more like dreaming to me), I ignored her, then of course... all spread over her nappy and clothes. It was such a mess! :evil: :lol:
Natasha is drinking Prosobee at the moment, and also congee with dried scallop to give it some flavour. According to my doctor, with this combination, she should be feeling much better in no time, but...

BTY, when Anson was being hospitalised, did he had any nightmares?

There's nothing I can do to avoid it, unless you keep the baby to a safe place where there's no virus (which is more or less impossible, right?!)

Not only you are a lazy Christian, I am one too. But even worst is I am still a newborn Christian, only just finished my cultivation class today.
After the baby's born, I always have excuses not to go to church, for which I know it's a very bad habit.
We should try our best to give ourselves back to Father. :mrgreen:
I was told that no shell foods should be given to babies as shell foods usually contain germs/bacteria. That's why I would avoid giving shell foods to Anson, even dried scallop. I think it's better to give Natasha plain congee especially when she has watery poo poo. (no worry about the 'taste', if you give her more 'taste' on food, she would be more choosy on food later on. )
Remember no salt and light food for babies below 1 year old!
I forgot to say, last time I didn't let Anson stay into the hospital over night, even he was 104'C and vomited whatever he'd eaten. The doctor said that he needed to 吊鹽水. But I insisted him to go home cos I think he would suffer more in the hospital and he would be more comfortable at his own bed. Then, the doctor gave me the 鹽水沖劑 for him to drink at home. Anson looked so miserable and lost about 4 pounds that few days :cry: ........ he was better in the third and forth days after he had changed to soya milk given by his doctor.
In fact, I'm not so 要求高架! But I think even small shops there would be 寶藏for us to search! Right?! :mrgreen:

The one I hired is local and working personally (not under any company). She said she had been domestic helper for 8-9 yrs. She has been working for 4 times here at my home now. I think she is really good.....working on her own and cleaned up all the dirts since my ex-maid had gone! :lol: Last time I hardly vaccum the carpet inside the rooms, cos it's too noisy when Anson is sleeping, but if Anson is awake, he would follow wherever I go and touch the button of the vaccum cleaner! :evil: Now, 一天都光哂!

Natasha poo five times on Sunday, the last two was all watery :cry: , therefore I had to bring her to see her doctor again. Well... this time she gave her some 止呵藥 and discovered that her right ear is a bit infected, so she also gave her some running nose medicine, apparently wants to clear the infection ?-(
Anyway, she after taking the 止呵藥, she feels much better now, at least only one poo poo since this morn. Hope she'll get well soon lah! :-|
BTY, she accidentally poo on the nappy in the middle of night, when I discovered it at around 4 am, she already has 紅pat pat lah, poor thing! :-|
I dare not to give her any dry scallop congee now, only Prosobee with water or with 粥水. Since she is getting a bit better after taking the medicine, will wait for a while before giving anything else.
You'd made a very intelligent choice not to admit Anson to the hospital that time, I really regretted it. You know, when I brought her to the doctor yesterday, as soon as the doctor or the nurses walked near her, she cried like mad. I think she's still got some 陰影.
