睇完個most updated嘅plan,我諗我可以負責埋 "(VI)<全場最??>選舉" 呢樣嘢by free of charge. I have different colour paper and I can use some paper boxes (if don't mind they're too simple) for collection. This will save $50 in budget for other uses (e.g. your new idea- banner). Also, I think one receiptionist maybe not enough as she will get too much stuff to handle when more than 1 family come. 我驚到時個receiption會"lum"檔but都係再睇定吓先. Also, for the banner, CatCat's idea is not bad but maybe not so attractive. Just to see whether any other mums will have other thinking.

我呢幾日都無睇呢個topic 呀, 前個幾板好似你invite Sonic 做edit the phone, 點解到最update 既list 無左既, Sonic 話無所謂, 但唔係好明白 "edit the phone" --> 係做 d 咩喎 ?-(

生日蛋糕
Plan Description: 預計須要8個8”-10”大的生日蛋糕, 分開8組, 每組12位大人。請懂得做蛋糕的媽咪幫手。

派對照片
Plan Description: 邀請5-6位攝影機幫手, 每個家庭出示”影相券”後, 會有8-10分鐘任影時段。若以全部家庭計算此項安排需約2小時, 餘下1小時就用作集體合照
及攝影師進餐時段。所有原大少的相片將於生日會結束後上載到ftpserver。 If we have 5 camera-men, the buffet cost for them is about $55*5=275. If we have 100 participants, we could share this cost, and each will need to pay $275/100 = $2.75 extra for the photo service. Is it OK with all mums?

安排集體遊戲或跳舞項目
Plan Description:
- I am asking my friend, who has joined a 6-month play group, to share us what kind of games can be played with 6 months
- Group Dance - We could plan some dancing musics and do the dancing with babies, e.g. Head-Shoulder-Knees-and-Toes

<全場最??>選舉
Plan Description: We will define 3個全場最?? for 選舉 and announce the themes at the beginning of the party. We will distribute 3 colored voting papers to mums/dads at reception at the beginning. We will setup 3 boxes putting at the stage for people to vote for the 3 themes. The voting deadline is around 3:45pm, and we will count the votes from 3:45-4:00pm. At 4:00pm, we will announce the winners of the 3 themes and ask the winning BBs to come to the stage for a "cat-walk".

We need mums to lend us the mats and some other mums to help to pick up and clean the mats before the party

我想問下, 如果叫自願既媽媽做 reception, 我諗唔會有好多媽咪願意做, (可能只係我唔願意, 因為我想陪個仔玩多d), 我覺得參加得呢個 party, 好多媽媽都想同自己個 BB 玩, 同 enjoy 下個 party 啦, 如果要長時間做 reception, (因為我相信會有 d 人早到 or 遲到), 會少左好多時間陪BB 玩, 咁我建議如果叫我地 d 工人做 reception 好唔好, 你可唔可以問下如果工人去幫手, 但唔食野, 駛唔駛俾 $$

ps. 不過如果你覺得無咁既雖要, 你可以唔駛理架

Sorry for the confusion. Originally, we had 2 more games in the programme, however, since some mums commented that we have too much to play with such a short period of time, I have removed 2 games from the run-down. Originally, I invited Sonic to help to edit the photos for the "Eye/Mouth Matching" game, however, since I took it out now, I have removed that part from the plan. Thanks a lot for supporting that, we might play that game separately from the party, and we might need Sonic's help at that time :wink: :wink:

Based on restaurant's practice, they seldom accept this, as it is hard for them to control who eat and who do not eat.

其實我有個提議呀，好唔好每個媽咪如果加咗野係邊，係前面呢個地方位寫一寫呀，因為好似好亂咁，其實係知道加咗野落個list度，但係又要慢慢搵加咗響邊，其實幾"sign"時間去搵﹝如果唔啱聽，當我冇講過﹞

[size=x-large]~~ Update from Cafe Visit Today ~~

(1) Space (will post floor plan later)
- about 4000 sq. feet, occupying the whole 23/F floor
- the reception will be placed next to the lift lobby, reception table and chairs will be set
- diaper area will be next to the reception area, there will be 1-2 big sofa for placing the BBs for changing diapers
- drink/food buffer serving area will be along the window side next to the reception
- dance floor is about 15x25 sq feet
- I have asked Mr. Fong to spare empty seat space for parents to place the BB strolleys next to their seating area, something like we will take out 1 chair for every 2-3 chairs, and that empty chair space will be for parents to park the BB strolleys
- I have asked Mr. Fong to use “detergent, e.g. 綠水” to clean the wooden dance floor beforehand, he is OK with this
(2) Decoration
- We could go to the cafe about ½ hr before the party for decoration purpose, i.e. around 2pm
- We could stick the Party’s Name as back-drop on the stage’s curtain
- We could bring balloons to the cafe, and we are free to do more decoration by ourselves (basically, Mr Fong said it is up to us for any decoration)
- After the party at 5:30pm, Mr. Fong will help to remove the decoration
(3) Menu
- The menu is a simple one: Food includes: 生菜蕃茄沙拉, sandwich, 咖喱角, 春卷, chicken wing, 香腸, jelly糖 (or fruit cake), cookie. One drink per person, choices include: Tea/Coffee (can be hot or cold), Coke or 7-Up.
- Drink coupon will be distributed at the reception, people will need to bring the drink coupon to the drink bar and get their drinks. Glasses of water will be served at up front to everybody.
- If you think one drink is not enough for the 3-hours, we could add one more drink for each person, the price for this additional drink is $10 per glass per person, i.e. it will end up to be $60 (excluding 10% service charge) for each person. Please let me know your thought on this.
- Please review the food menu and let me know if you want to exchange any of the item with something else
(4) Facilities
- 2 microphones will be provided
- We can bring along any CDs and ask them to play the CD music for us
- There is a screen for showing any projected images, but there is no projector provided by the cafe, we need to rent the projector by ourselves if we need one. I checked, the price for renting the projector will be around $1500-2000. Please let me know whether you think we have anything to project and whether we need to rent the projector or not.
(5) Time
- 2:30-5:30pm
- Some people can go earlier at around 2pm for setting up the decoration and reception area
(6) No. of seats
- If we have 40-50 BB strolleys, Mr. Fong needs to take out 40-50 adult chairs to spare the space for parking the BB strolleys. The cafe is big enough for 140-150 ppl originally, so, Mr. Fong said it is just fit for around 110.
(7) Fee
- I told Mr. Fong that we will have 2-4 very small kids (around 3 years old that could not consume lots of food). He said if we have 2-4 (not more than this number), he could offer us half-price for this group of kids. I.e. their charge will be only $25 (excluding 10% service charge). So, please kindly revise the “C” in your application, if the kids is below 3 yrs old, please stay with “C”. If the kids is above 3 years old, please change it from “C” to “A”, this helps for collecting money, as 3+ years old will be charged $50 per person, like adult.
- I asked Mr. Fong whether we could bring a few maids to the cafe without consuming food, he said this is very hard to control and manage, he refused for waiving the charges for this group of people. So, if any of you plan to bring maid, you need to add “1A” to your registration, however, since now we are over-book, please add the “1A” into the waiting list first.
(8) When and how to pay
- We need to pay $1000 to “hold” the Feb 27 date asap, otherwise, there is chance that other people will get the Feb 27 date if they pay earlier than us. I told Mr. Fong that I could pay $1000 only after I get the money from the group, and I told him that I will pay the $1000 deposit maybe this coming weekend
- Then, we need to pay half of the price (around $1500 more if total is $5000) as formal deposit
- The other half of the price will be settled on the party day (Feb 27)
(9) Food
- I tried the food today during lunch time (lunch set is around $30-40), food is OK, definitely not as good as hotel, but in terms of price per performance, it is acceptable.
