I am only a small client of that law firm. No discount even if you use my name ga.
Or if you wish to, you can try and go to "民政處宣誓簽名,費用全免".
At the time (Oct 2005) I just prepared the full set of documents that is required by the Indo Consulate (according to their website), and did not try to go around the most formal methods, in order to avoid holdups.
If you really went to "民政處宣誓簽名,費用全免" and the Indo Consulate accepts this document, pls post here for info.
I need to go to Indo Consulate for contract renewal in Oct 2007 again, so will equally benefit from your info !! :wink:

我係用"民政處宣誓簽名,費用全免"的方法呀. 我老公係個印印的僱主,佢話係印領事館要interview時都好快,而家真係慳番好多錢呀.多謝你地大家的幫忙呀!

The Letter of Guarantee from employer to domestic helper

This is made by and before the Notary Public in Hong Kong:
1. Personal details of Employer:
a. Name:
b. Hong Kong ID Card number.
c. Home Address.
d. Home phone number, Office phone number, Mobile phone number.

2. Personal details of Domestic Helper:
a. Name
b. Hong Kong ID Card number.
c. Passport number.
d. Complete address at Indonesia (home address).
e. Home address phone number
f. Name contact person e.g. father/ mother/ husband/ relative (state the relationship).
g. New Contract Number.
h. Old Contract Number.

3. In event of the termination of the employment contract, the employer guarantees the helper airfare back to Indonesia in any circumstances, furthermore if the employer should leave Hong Kong permanently for any reason, the employer also guarantees the helper

4. One month notice or in lieu of one month salary must be given to other party in event of the termination of the employment contract.
5. In accordance with the employment contract, the employer further guarantees that a monthly salary of not less than HK$3,320.- (Hong Kong Dollars Three Thousand Three Hundred and Twenty) will be paid to
the helper.
6. The employer will responsible for the levy HK$ 400/month.
7. The employer should guarantee to provide the helper with free accommodation, food and sufficient winter clothing during her employment in Hong Kong as provided for in point 5 and 6 of the employment contract.
8. The employer also guarantee to provide full free medical treatment including hospitalization if necessary, during the helper period of employment.
9. In the event of the death of the Helper, the employer should pay the cost of transporting the Helper remains (human remains) and personal property from Hong Kong to his/her family at the place of origin including the person who has to bring the body to her family in Indonesia.

10. The employer will pay all fees such insurance, long service payment (if applicable) for above said Indonesia domestic helper contract renewal process at the Indonesian Consulate General and at the Hong Kong Immigration.
11. The employer will give domestic helper rest day every week and statutory holidays.
12. The employer will fully responsible to the domestic helper during her employment under this contract.

It seems that the salary to maid has just increased (cannot recall the new amount). You are very helpful to type the guarantee letter out. i can just copy and paste.

You should ask your maid NOW to tel home (Indo) and ask her parents / husband to prepare the documents required from Indonesia, and air mail / express mail / courier to HK.
Then get all other HK documents ==> complete all the other procedures.

Please read this topic from Pg 1 and you will know everything you need to know.

With your maid's consent, of course, you can ask her to :
1. 打避孕針 - do this in YOUR doctor's clinic and not any doc she goes to, of course. This should be able to last for 1m but I think it needs to be taken some time beforehand. Check with your O&G.
If she is ready to earn more $$ in HK, she will agree to this.
2. Pay half of her HK--> Indonesia --> HK air ticket, then pay her the balance after she returns to HK to work for you. You need to pay for her HK --> Indo air ticket if she decides not to work for you anyway. So $$-wise there will be no loss on your side.

Anyway, your 1st step is to get the written consent from her father + Indo village rep cfm and that computer record sheet 1st. Without these you cannot proceed to renew contract w/o agency.

我昨日睇NOW生活台個節目"家家樂傭傭",個agent(專家)又話請印印一定要經agent同印尼領事館辨手續既,賓賓就可以自行攪手續.

究竟邊樣至真架?
