玫瑰崗 I feel is a good school, the school is big and a good location, fresh air (atleast) and my cousin's boy is studying there and she said the school is very dedicated. so try try ar! =)
yes, actually 玫瑰崗 has a bad reputation for it's secondary school and that is not very fair for it's kindergarten and primary school.
I have no personal experience for Victoria yet so it is hard to say, but I heard that Victoria is very commerical, (asking $ for everything all the time!) so I will try to apply for both, but decide later of what to do.
On the other hand, I would like to consider that 玫瑰崗 is a catholic school which is something that I really like. (good value and moral to teach the children which is not available at Victoria)
did you apply for 玫瑰崗? Because the playgroup start this week, and they take the registation fee by the end of this month. On the other hand, Victoria's interview day is Feb 2007, so far away.
I'm quite confused, not sure what the pros and cons about Victoria are. Same as you heard, many commented Victoria as very commerical, (need to pay membership fee to borrow school toys.) But they are not saying Victoria is expensive, as international school.
I have applied for playgroup at Victoria and will start next month.
I did not applied for playgroup at RHS, becuase I did not consider it from the beginning.
For N1 I applied for both, for RHS the interview will be next month and Jan07 for Victoria.
Like you I am somewhat confused, but I think you can take a look at this for more feedback on RHS ---> here
