Yes, that's why people say terrible 2. Hope that he can reach his terrific 3 soon. But, I know that I should enjoy this stage as he learns so fast. What he did not know how to say or do yesterday, he may all a sudden able to do it today. It's so amazing.

haha, I still remember how we started introducing new food to Spencer before. He loved almost everything and we were so pleased. The trick is to give him food with plain taste first, no sweet stuff at the beginning. We gave him peas, beans first, then carrots, squash, sweet potatoes, mixed vegetables, peach, apple, banana, etc. At the beginning, I gave him Gerber babyfood but my friends told me it's better to give the natural fresh food rather than those processed babyfood. Then, I started to make my own for Spencer. I guess that I would rather like to give Amanda all homemade fresh babyfood this time.

Hi, Huiyeeyee and babygigi,
try this ointment: Aquaphor Healing ointment. Pedi recommended to me. It is really helpful. Ivan has same skin problem. Sometimes his situation is serious. Rash shows on his face, body, legs and hands. But after I provide several times to him. Just at the same day, the rash decreases and finally dispears. and then I provide it twice a day as a skin moisture.
I ever used OTC Hydrocortisone 1% plus other brand lotion to Ivan, but they didn't work. Now I use the ointment at the most of time and rarely use steroid.

A convertible carseat would be allowed to go on plane provided they meet the standard (the new ones do). What car seat are you using now? You mentioned earlier that it's rear facing only.

Dear all,
same here... Rus coupon for all carseats, carriers, beddings, clothing, bottles with discounts. also, I got single item 15% off as well from Rus (good for toysrus and babiesrus) Good from now thru Mar27..
We went to toyrus to buy the backyard system... so we apply a toysrus credit card.. guess what .. after all discount.. the system is $565 cheaper after all discount coupon.

yup, we use the conversible carseat for Amanda.. because all airline only allow face forward carseat. Infant carseat is not allow in airline (we tried.. we fight for it.. when Amanda was 7 months old, airline engineer even had to get into the flight to set up the infant carseat.. ) that cause a lot of trouble, finally CX gave us the buckhead seat on the return flight but they took away Amanda's infant carseat. they gave us the bassinet and also block a extra seat for us (because it is not full) so Amanda can lay down on 2 seats.
since then, I bought the conversible carseat. I use the carseat holder. If I travel with another adult, I will use the stroller for Amanda, but one time, I didn't, so I use the baby carrier. so I have free hand, even I got a air-hoster to take care of me from NYC back to hk (if you take CX by yourself, you can request an airline officer to take care of you and your baby when you land.) that person will take care of your car seat and all your luggage. you just need to take care of your baby. That is pretty cool. I use that service on CX and CO too.

Back from Vegas. 日日行. 返到來Pariis 仲要認左10秒先認得我啊! 但係就即刻認到爸爸. 真係有D傷心. 我先係日日湊住佢果個啊!

提醒各位媽咪, 如果妳地下次旅行, 話有平店, 但要聽個講座先有, 要考慮清楚. 以下係今次既經歷, 同各位分享下.

今次我地stay at Planet Hollywood, 3晚$200, 但就要求我地去聽個2小時about time-share講座. 我去到老公先同我講. Time-share 就係話, 俾錢買一間屋, 每年有段時間, 比如1 week, 間屋俾你地住, 其他時間就其他買家住. 一入到去就係"單對單"咁sell 我地. 原本諗定聽完就走, 點知個sale見我地冇意思買, 就叫多幾個
sale 一齊過來講, 想走都走唔到. 冇耐我話唔多舒服, 自己上房先, 叫老公過多陣搵個籍口走. 之後佢返上來, 原來佢地叫我老公俾低$30, 但係之後要返去"手羅"返張receipt, 如果唔係3晚酒店會charge 返我地每晚$100. 咁返到落去, 佢地開始sell 個$500 旅行package. 我老公開始有D煩, 打算買左就算. 不過我堅持唔買, 因為買得佢地個package 去旅行, 都唔知係唔係要再聽呢D講座. 最後佢地好無奈唯有放我地走. 前後搞左3個幾鐘.

各位BK媽咪, 我聽講依家好多呢D去野, 各位要小心.

so they have reopened the cable car? so u could see the budda up close ? nice. last time we went they were closed. did u take bailee on the cable car up to victoria's peak?
we might go back to hk this summer for a week or two i wish it wont be as hot as last year.there really is not alot of kid friendly places in hk :(

The cable car was reopened last December, it was a very smooth ride. It takes about 20-25 mins to arrive Npong Ping Village then another 10 mins walk to the Buddha.
We went to the Peak by taxi, but it wasn't a clear day.:cry: When we were in HK, every day weather was like drizzle and foggy.
Bailee rubbed her nose and eyes so badly in HK, and I think its because of the air pollution/dust. I personally cannot deal with the summer heat in HK, it is so hot and humid.

oh. we took the taxi up the peak cuz of the very long line and took the cable car down. very nice view though from the restaurant at night. air pollution in hk is really bad i have a hard time breathing too once i get out of the airport..i am not sure if it's the heat or just the polluted air...

yup they r always giving out free tickets for going to see the timeshare but normally we only have a couple of days for our vacation and could not afford to spend couple hours listening to their sales talk..........

個個都病晒, 幾日冇上來看.

我地過去呢個星期六日都有去下唐人街買下菜返來煮, 好似都有好多個咁既廣場, 我地去左頂好, 好似都好舊. 可能會有其他的新D.

我想問下大家, 呢度會唔會有日本奶粉賣架? 我係全人奶媽餵細仔, 本來係香港我會有時可以PUMP出來餵, 但來到這裡因為PUMP同奶煲都用唔到(VOLTAGE唔同又未買), 所以次次埋身, 但本身自覺奶量唔係多, 阿仔好似有點乾, 於是我去買左罐ENFANMIL, 開左一次, 唔食, 兩次, 一放入口就喊, 三次, 同佢搏命一樣, 一啖都唔食. 我知人奶同佢唔一樣味, 教佢食奶粉唔係咁容易. 不過我都知ENFANMIL幾難飲, 想比佢試番明治, 因為囡囡細個時食明治, 好香好滑. 但來到這裡唔知會係邊度有得買日本奶粉呢?

Long time no see.

Take good care of you and your family. I saw some messages and knew some parents and their kids got sick.

Could everyone give me some opinions? I really need it. I am hesitating and don’t know what to do.

I am working at the medical office over 2 years. Now I think it is time to improve my job. I am interested at the medical industry, so I want to get a license of RN or Physician assistant. I looked through CUNY website. RN and PA need full-time two-year study. I think the period is ok.

I also ask my doctor’s suggestion. She is an excellent doctor with good education background. (Graduate from Columbia, medical study at Cornell, and NYU Hospital Doctor. I am working at her private office).

She told me. For RN, it is hard and competitive to enroll in this progrom. After get in, it is hard to finish program. But if pass exam and get a license, it is easy to find a job with good benefit. My friend told me, one of her friends want to transfer to another job cause nursing job is exhausted. For PA, it is easier to get in than RN if I have bachelor degree. I have business bachelor degree before. She reminded me, for those programs, it still be hard to study and finish, especially I have a baby. If I only want to have better income, join in some simple course such as ultrasound technician. Get a certificate and then get a job.

Could somebody give some advices about job opportunity, income, education difficulty, family support, and financial aid?
On my opinion, RN is the easiest to find a job, PA’s salary is the highest, and ultrasound technician course is the easiest. I want to have second baby next year. At that time, my mom can help me to take care of baby and my first baby is almost 2 years old. But I don’t know if I can stick on the study after I have 2 babies, even my mom can help me out. I know taking care of two babies is a big job, but I don’t how big it is. For financial aid, if I get a new job at hospital, do somebody know that hospital has this benefit to support employee’s education. Or I should go to the college and ask admission department directly.

if you are planning to go for RN, you can ask Greentree for advice as well, she is doing the RN course in NYU -hunter ollege. she may able to give you some more advice.
And I would say that it is true if you can get a seat in RN program, study hard, and pass the NCLEX, you are quite easy to find jobs which suit your schedule. Job in hosiptal, you just only work 3 days a week and one of the week you work 4 days, 2 working weekend a month. (total 13 days of work) then you are a full time.
plus, they mostly pay for your whole family health insurance, which is for 4 members family (about $1385 a month), cover medical, vision and dental with prescription plan). most of the hospital even give you pension.
to be nurse in that 3 choices, will have the best benefit for family, sure better than the other two (because of our powerful union).
hum, you can just sumbit all your application and see if you can get a seat in it.. as I am not so sure if you got no pre-nursing studies base (you may need to take all the pre-course, which may make your studies length longer).
sure, most of the hospital do have the reinbuisement for yourself, some of them like my employer, they even cover my dependent if my dependent studies as well. they pay for it.
So, if you are going to study in Nursing, just get the associate degree, after work for a year, then ask the hospital to pay for your study, they do have a limited amount, but that is really good enough,as when you work full time, you would able to study full time anyway.
I am gonna tell you.. to have 2 kids and study full time, is a hard job. when I came over here, I study for my NCLEX-RN exam, with my lil Amanda with me.. that few months (I did my home study for 6 months to prepare for the exam as I know nothing about US hospital industry and also, all the cultural things here plus all the pharmatology are different from British style) was really a tough time for me.
I can't give you any idea about the tech and the PA.. as I don't know much about their industry.. Good luck. if you really study in Nursing, I am able to give you a hand later..
