Last time I stayed at Sentosa Resort & Spa (at Sentosa) and Madarin Hotel (at Orchard Road). Both are quite good!

Actually I've been to Sing 3 times, but my cousins took us around, mostly for feeding. I had no idea where I was. And I stayed at their homes / at a hotel whose name has already disappeared.

Places / feeding ground I've been to :
Botanic Garden
Lau Pa Sat (老巴剎)
China Town (牛車水) (No need for me to buy the Chin medicine, my maid buys them from Indonesia; they're actually manufactured there.)
Chicken rice at 文東記
Clarke Quay

This time we have to find our way, without my cousins 99% of the time, and with 2 kids on tow. So we need to plan well ahead. Worst comes to worst, will stay with my relatives, but as you know, the 居屋type of estates are quite far away from the city centre / Orchard Road.

I know about the chicken rice w/o bone from ChatterBox in Mandarin, but how come this Mandarin doesn't provide good service ?! ?-(

Another Q - where did you get the tourist map from ? Upon your arrival at the airport ? Need to find locations too.
