that is true.. Jolly, your lil one is only 6 months.. use the local formula will cause less trouble.
Similac advance (ready to use) is the one Amanda drank.
also, Similac has more resource and choice for different needs.

i am surprised to hear that RN got bonus too. is it a signon bonus or year end bonus? my friend who is a RN in toronto is on maternity leave she got almost a year off with full paid but now she is pregnant again during maternity leave so i guess she has another year off..so jealous......

it makes no different from where you graduated in NYC. because we are really short in staffing.
many nurses graduated from BMCC.. as they just want to be a nurse, not really for futher ach ... [/quote]

it is a sign on bonus.. but it is cool.. biligual for $2500, RN for another $10,000 and difficult to fill for another $2500.. I wish if they can pay be cantonese and mandarin, haha.. ( I am dreaming).
yeah.. do you interest to get another Nursing degree??? haha

Oh, this is first time I heard that.

That means nursing job is in a big shortage. What do you mean RN for another $10,000? This bonus is for RN job, right. How come the hospital provide RN bonus to RN. I am confused.

go to your nearby drugstore and ask for glycerin suppositories for toddler/child size. go see pedi if situation not improved.

Have you try Huggie Supreme? When my son was smaller, he used Pamper swaddler/cruiser and Huggie Supreme. poo poo did back up to his back before when he use Pamper's. Since size 4, my son has been using Huggie Supreme exclusively. The elastic band on the waist seems to fit my son better. Also, the Huggie Supreme is thicker compare to the Pampers Cruiser.

I haven't been following this forum (topic) for a while. A lot to catch up. :)

This morning I brought my 21-month-old son to see the Dr. He has running nose and cough on and off for couple weeks and since last Sunday, it started again and become worse. He got the thick yellowish mucus from his nose and the skin around his nose is cracked now with blood. :(

Today when the Dr try to clean up his ear (ear wax) and check if he has ear infection, he got crazy and hit the dr with his toy train (ouch!). I had to use my arms and body to hold his arms, legs, and body very tight while the Dr trying to check his ear. He cried out so loud and got so crazy. The Dr's comment was "He is very strong for his age. " hummm... what can you say for an uncontrolable kid if you are a pd?

Anyway, we got some medicine for the ear (not ear infection yet but the mucus back up to his ear and may cause ear infection soon) and eye drop as well (for his eye discharge). Dr said the cough and running nose will go on for 14 days or more...

I wonder if there's any better way to treat his symtoms since all the cold medicine has been recalled for <2-yr-old in the US. I heard kids in HK would have been treated with medicine for the cough/running nose. Is that true?

陰公囉! 4日冇臭臭個肚仔一定好漲好唔舒服!

Pariis 如果2日冇臭臭, 我會俾盒baby food prune 蓉佢食. 微波爐丁熱16秒. 通常食完半日內會去到. 蕉蓉丁熱都OK.

試下啦. 過多日就一定要睇醫生啦!

actually, infant constipated over 3 days, you better notify your peds, to let them know. infant with such and such problem.
over 4 days with no bowel movement. how is her diet? any fiber intake before prune juice?
you can give her the bullet supp. or use infant/child fleer enema as well.
but again, better call the peds. as if constipation is a sign of something else, we don't want the real problem to be covered up.

you can't.. they will pay you the bonus over a period of time to prevent you running away, also you need to sign the contact that you won't resign within a limited of time.. like a year.
