你去 facebook，我果個 album 到睇返有人 comment 左點整 d 相嫁。以前係香港，返工整相，時間資源充足，整乜都得，但係而家我仲係寄人離下，住係C6 個 fd 到，真係好無引，又吾方便，乜都做吾到，不過好彩揾到地方搬喇，但係要下個月先搬得，C6 開始幫我切緊電腦。

至於 Gabriel，吾使擔心咁多，擔心亦都無用，佢仲細，比 d 時間佢，而家等佢做過快樂小孩先啦！

today, Por por (my mom) called, Gabriel picked up the phone and say hello, as no response, he said :wei...

then, fat bear asked him to call "por por" and he called my mom so many times..
and today, when I counted number 1-4 then, he suddenly dropped me a word :five...

that lil silly one.. seems.. know that we all very stressful as he doesn't open his mouth.. and now, he starts bit by bit, little by little.
Thanks so much to cheers us up.
Although, he is so behind.. but, we have faith, he is a good boy and he knows...

Dear All,
The economy atmosphere here is really bad..agree? All my friends around me worrying about will be laid off by the company..my company are working hard to get more business with different customers..luckily seems still to be okay..ge.....i am also asking my kids and maid to save energy ..and money for the family ar..not to go out for dinner oftenly ..and not to buy too much clothes la..慳得就慳...as i think the economy will only be back to normal at least 2 years later...aii..ADD OIL TOGETHER..

I am so happy for you, finally work out bit by bit for Gabriel, a break thru, keep it up, as practise make better, I guess he has collected the vocab and now can describe it back, so like my previous speech therapy suggested, keep talking and naming the object/phrase, and end up he will use if appropriately.

Good sign and worth to go, until one day you're satisfy with his stage and you can stop/quit.

Remember you stay in HK, right? Then you should know the unstable economy and the great loss of the investors due to the Lehman Brothers or Accumulator.

My Italy colleagues asking was it bad in HK and I told him what's the current market.

You can also see a lot of private sale/preview of new arrival/outlet sale for different prestige brands, the cycle has started early this year and we all teased to save the bullets to shoot in the right place.

...... Gabriel keeps calling "por por" morning till evening, breakfast to bed time bottle... none stop.. but not other words else..

por por is on the way to european countries for her "N Time" traveling..

let's work hard.. econ here in NYC.. is very scary.. they laid off people by "1000 and 1000"... some laid of 8000 -10000 staffs from this crisis just in this few months.

Yes, I m in HK, I know of course about the news of Lehman Brothers la..i also told my US customer who i met recently that the brankrupt of Lehman Brothers not only affecting US but the whole world...alot of hk people lot of money...the elders are so poor..but luckily the bank finally settled the issue with them

Not only NY , most of the place in US were having economy recession. I met with few US customer in these two weeks and they were from New Jersey and Ohio and all said the economy is bad and i told the HK is the same...lot of big company laid off and laid off people..our factory in china also thinking how to laid off 20% of workers..as not too much order for the coming few months..aiii..very worry ar...

I wish that , the X'mas sale starts early, so we can get some cheap stuff.
time for kids to change new shoes, their feet outgrowth, nowadays, we try to save the money, and go far away, to the factory outlet to do our shopping, which is almost half price (sure is not the new arrival, but who cares?)
I just want to make sure they are warm, they wear comfy shoes, that's it.
I can not believe that the gas price drop to US $1.87/galloon which was over $4 a few months ago.

Ya, just reconfirm my recollection is right.

We'll all suffered by the recession soon, but how to survive both mentally and physically will need a lot of courage.

Like the quote says "Where's there's life, there's hope", that is the flexibility of the human being instead of the robot.

I rec'd from my U.S. offices that office will be closed on Thursday and Friday this week (27 & 28 Nov) for the Thanksgiving holidays.

Yes, it's not surprise and think smart to spend wisely of the portion of money on kid's stuff.

In order to stimulate the retail trading, some legco member has proposed to follow Taiwan's policy to introduce the "spending voucher" for the amount of HKD1K. Details will be refined soon.

Xmas present, activities and Thanksgiving meal have to continue the practice, but in what degree and the content is something we can control.

Bet you know Tung Chung, Hong Kong has an "outlet" mall good for shopping too.

Where do you normally go from NY to the nearest outlet area, thought everything is real high expense item there.

Silly to ask, how much for the ride, the shortest of the metro. Ours will be HKD3.6 or HKD4 for just a MTR station.

Hi everyone,

We are also in the saving mode.
I bought the kids' X'mas presents a few months ago when there was a big sale.
We dont really have big celebration on X'mas so it will save some money.
I also bought shoes and clothes from HK when we were there.
I m trying to spare some food and gifts for the needy ones as a lot of people are facing a very hard X'mas this year.
I think we will have a good X'mas as hoyin will have summer holiday so we can save his tuition fee (quite a lot).

shop only close on 11/27 (thursday), and they open again on 11/28.
not much shops will close on friday as it is black friday and it is the time for us to shop.
We usually go to Woodbury commons, that is about 1.5 hours ride from home.. not bad. which the stuff will be just hlaf price, you can even get the baby/kid stuff just $0.5 or a dollar for a T-shirt or a pant.. under $150 with no sale tax. shoes normal for $56 and you can get it from the outlet at about $10-22 only.
in NYC, we pay by ride (MTA)-- USD$2/ride within 2 hours.. no matter how many time you ride on it.
also, you can get daily pass or tourist multiple pass as well.. which certainly cost more

all gifts we prepare since a while ago.. piece by piece, little by little, mostly I wait until they do final sale, no return, then I will check very carefully.
this year, I bought a few flash cards packages, books, for all Amanda's friends (BK families in NYC) for their X'mas party. For the poor.. we already went to the wholesale superstore, to buy the canned food from there, and sent them back to my office for the food drive.
We started recycle baby item, clothes, baby gears, unused diaper/formula, and maternity cloths as well since 2006. And we have BK families member in NYC+NJ for about 34 families.
my home is the resource center, so once they got clothes or toys or baby gears outgrowth, they will keep them in my garage. Then every month, we have 1 gathering, and by that day, they will pick what they need. We don't involve money, everything is donation.
Amanda's clothes did come back to Gabriel.. can you believe that.. it is so sweet. and they are still new!
Gabriel got 23 winter pants, so all of them will be new again (how you can wear all of those), and they will sit here and wait for new owner... hee hee.. little boys who are younger than him. Gabriel's infant car seat, bouncer, swing, infant muiscal mobile.. (from Amanda.. heehee) are now with all his friends. That is the way we try to save money here in NYC.

Very good indeed, environmental and also bringing luck to the next of the recycle idea. Only space is the concern but you've sort that out so no worry at all.
