所以我們唯有從飲食, 環境及天氣各方面找出令BB濕疹番發的致敏原才是最有效減少濕疹番發的好方法.

I think it is true for eczema patient not to wear wool wear. This is not only recommended by Chinese doctor, but also the western doctors also. And not only specialist say so, but also the GP, and hence we should pay attention to this.

So what we should be doing in winter is that always wear a 100% long sleeve cotton wear at the bottom, before you put on any woollen sweater, and make sure it is not turtle neck. Trust me as I am an eczema adult and I know how uncomfortable it is if your skin started to feel itchy. There's nothing if your skin is perfectly well, but once it started to be allergic, everything seems to be making the patient feeling uncomfortable.

To the others:

I also went to see the Chinese doctor giving out the talk yesterday, and I was at the talk also. I think the prescription given is different to different patients. From the beginning up to now, no 苦參 has been used in my prescription. However I started to get better after the 3rd visit. My condition should be considered as serious, only that not as serious as that shown by the western doctor, but still have it all over the body. I have been cured sometimes when I was in secondary school. However it comes back again when I go out to work, and become serious as I am under extreme pressure and stress. Hence I believer stress is an important factor to contribute eczema.

In my prescription from my Chinese doctor, he use 甘草 also, but the weight is only 1 gm, the most that he prescribed is 地黃 (10g). Hence I think if the steriod element is not that heavy, it can still be acceptable. Correct usage of the medicine could make you improve the condition without much side effect. I have once visited a very famous western doctor (a dermatogists) in Central who even used steriod injection to cure my eczema. The medicine is so strong that he told me it can only be taken once a month and the condition improve a lot within 30 mins. Anyway, seems that after more than 30 years of these steriod and non-steriod medicine that I am still fine, I pass my body check every year. BTW, I have asthma in my childhood also. Hence parents, don't worry too much and put too much pressure on yourself. When your child grow older, they can feel your pressure also and feel sorry for themselves. Do as much as possible to help and be relax. I really believe a happy life could help to improve the eczema condition. Hence teach your child on how to relax and calm down, and how to handle with their pressure, that's important.

讀完你的分享很感動! 尤其是看到你提及有位名醫竟然要同你打類固醇針, 真的很替你担心啊:-|

很明白及同意你的意見, 當然作為媽咪的我們, 有時是過份担心, 總希望找到一個方法能令濕疹病情減輕, 好讓bb將來大個好過d....

另外, 關於那位中醫, 我相信他都應該是個"好中醫", 我記得另一位濕疹患者mamaelton都是看這位中醫醫好濕疹的(不知她有否在看這個topic??)而你看過他第三次後也見到效果, 濕疹好了很多, 對嗎? 希望你的濕疹可以快些醫好.

我個仔今早已退了燒, 身上開始出現很多紅點, 或許因為他是濕疹bb, 所以現在出玫瑰疹, 我也覺得好像是濕疹, 相信要2-3天後才會完全好晒, 要等全身出晒紅點之後才會退.

我見仔仔成日"ar"面但就無周身"ar", 佢又無胃口, 而且脾氣差, 常常"痴"住我, 我想他是不舒服的, 記得大女細時出玫瑰疹時沒有什麼樣, 食得瞓得, 完全不用我費心, 我想分別可能是仔仔的皮膚不好, 又有濕疹底, 所以皮膚特別敏感, 就連不會令人痕癢的玫瑰疹也許亦會令他感到有點兒痕吧?!

不知你們的bb出過玫瑰疹嗎? 情況是否一樣?

我大仔在兩歲時都有出過玫瑰疹, 只有成個肚dum加背部少少, 紅色一餅餅, 有發燒, 不過印象中唔係好高, 呢種疹出左一次就會終身免疫, 我大仔食左一個星期藥我就冇同佢覆診再攞藥食, 雖然仲有疹, 但都唔怕太癢了, 不過可能佢皮膚底子差, 有濕疹, 所以d疹好耐先散, 我諗都成三個星期, 唔洗咁擔心, hard time 好快就會過!!

Its good to know that your son is feeling better.
does 玫瑰疹 happen after fever?
I remember when Hoyin had very serious eczema a few months ago, he didnt feel itchy.
However, he didnt have fever as well.
He did have it all over his body and then went away in a few days after I applied the David's balm.
At that time, all doctors said that he had eczema but steriod was not working for him.
Well, I guess I have to watch out next time.
Hoyin's eczema is coming back after 2 weeks back to NZ.
I know the weather is the main reason.
He had perfect skin when he was in Sing and HK (hot and wet).
I need to work hard (putting cream) to help him.
As he stays 2 days a week at my 99, she doesnt put cream as frequent as I do.
Hoyin's skin turns rough when he comes back from grandma.
I dont know how to explain to her and I wonder if she will listen to me.
I m worried when I go back to work, Hoyin's skin will be worse.
I dont want to go back to work!!!!

Dear all,

我都有去QE聽講座，好明顯中醫同西醫的presentation方式好唔同，西醫有理論、有跟據、說話有步驟，使聽眾明知西藥有副作用、治標唔治本，也會給人信心，另一方面，我地一定唔會lum自己溝d西藥黎用；相反中醫藥的科學驗證不足，好多野講都唔明，但係又話d草藥名俾你知，叫人可以食用或外敷，但我地唔知份量，點令人信服？

好耐(一個月左右)都唔洗同仔仔“ar”背脊la，昨晚又黎過，事原前晚(星期六)俾佢飲左一碗花膠烏雞湯，當晚瞓覺都無事，但瞓醒後發現佢成個背脊起晒d菠蘿釘咁，又話小便個度痛，一睇之下發現出晒粒粒同流血，雖然昨日都有繼續飲中藥，但就要成晚“ar”背脊同搽cream，不過佢仍然好痕:-( 。

請問你地如zoezoeiou 媽媽有無俾過花膠囡囡食，或者其他餵媽媽奶的媽媽有無飲/食過花膠，而會有不良反應的呢？

你有無打算做blood test呢？

同埋你囡囡有無返幼兒園呀？如果返全日學的，要戒口米好痲煩law。

不過你有無發現係米食左d mug野令囡囡起粒粒，好似我咁，因為仔仔食得魚，所以唔知食花膠會有不良反應，而家我地就同病相憐la，大家一齊為仔仔女女努力la！

而個假期,我足不出戶地同個女護理皮膚,之前佢隻腳仔同面ar到損晒,手腳似沙紙,於是我用土銀花煲水早晚用來同佢沖涼,之後同佢一日查好多次"愛麗他"cream,損左的地方唔查,我買左支臘梅花油同佢查,好神奇第二朝佢損左的地方滑一滑,而家佢手腳滑滑,大家不妨試下......

I've ordered one David cream through the web-site that u posted b4. David is a very helpful person, he taught me how to use the cream in a proper way, and he also requested me to send him 1 digital picture that it can show my baby's skin conditions to him, he will give me more informations how to curl it well except using his cream.

My son had a high fever 3 weeks ago (upto 103.5). After the fever has gone for 2 days, he developed 一身红疹. We called the nurse and she said no worries just 玫"wei"疹， will recover in 2-3 days．　But we saw the doctor and the doctor said not 玫"kwei" 疹，not that serious. But he has rashes over his body for a long time, and later the rashes have changed a bit and looked more like eczema-and getting more serious! We have no choice but to use elomet to cure it. I have the feeling that eczema babies will react more strongly to other skin problems.

That's true, eczema babies are very sensitive, even a bit of dust will worsen their condition. Do as much as you can to help. At present, there is no evidence that Elomet will be hurting your babies, and this cream/ointment has already been in the market for quite a long period of time. Follow your doctor's instruction of applying Elomet and it will be safe to use. Normally once or twice (at most) a day for 2 days shall cure already.
