i went to clinic today and get the injection for suppression (total for 25 days!)
the nurse asked me to back on 27th for blood test and will give me the Gonal-f
i'm a bit confused... as today is my day 19. my usual period is 25 days. if taking birth control pills, will this affect the nos of day of my period?
even the period is 28 days, it's about day 5 on 27th april already. is it too late to start the Gonal -f injection?
i asked two times already and i guess the nurse would not made it wrong..
Glad to know that you have started the surpression injection already. But 25 injections? Why so many? I only need to inject for 7 days. Are you injecting Decapeptyl?
When you are taking BCP, forget about your usual cycle length. Once you stop your BCP, your period will come on the third or fourth drug free day. And once you get your period, you will start Gonal-f on your day 2 or 3.
As for myself, I have finished my BCP and supression injections. My period came today and I will begin to inject Gonal-f tomorrow.
i only have 3 pills left (includ tonight), is that mean my m will come around 21st?
but i only see Dr on 27th and nurse said will start Gonal-f on that day.

yes, your m will come on the 21st. But as to why you seem to start Gonal-f late, I really don't know. Maybe you should discuss your concern with Dr. Tay. It seems that every doctor has their own ivf protocol. It is really hard to compare. We can only trust him.
i just called and asked the nurse, she said i don't have to look at my period now, Dr is monitoring . so, sure is starting Gonal-f on 27th. i feel safe now. :mrgreen:
