No need to issue air ticket. I suggest you just make the reservations with travel agent first, not issue the ticket yet, and issue the ticket (and pay$$ for air ticket) right after HK Imm Dept issues DH working visa.
No need to show air ticket to Indo Consulate or HK Imm Dept.

(其實你是要等印尼領事館- appointment for interview + a date which is several days later for collection of stamped new contract and other documents.)
(我去年十月初去自行續約時，打電話可以約翌日的interview，不需一星期已全部手續辦妥。但可能愈來愈多人去自行續約，加上一月及四月多假期，所以appointment for interview愈來愈遲。)
1. No problem anytime to renew DH contract by yourself.
You can only make appointment for interview with Ind Consulate in Dec 04, by which time your Indo DH is already back in HK.
2. BUT.....
Pls check with HK Imm Dept whether your Indo DH's home leave can be taken BEFORE 1st contract is due (home leave in Nov 04, before contract due in Jan 05), i.e will it satisfy HK Imm Dept's requirements. I am doubtful about this.
3. If you can only let your Indo DH take leave in Nov of each year, why not let her take home leave in NOV 05 instead, which will satisfy HK Imm Dept's requirements for sure.
