Sorry to keep you waiting. Alicia is still sick (have been having diarrhea for 11 days already... :-( :-( ) and I just took her to visit the doctor again.

For Fee, we will collect:
Adult and children 3+ years old = $80 per person
Children 1-3 years old = $40 per person

This is the floor plan.

Question: do we need to set sitting plan in advance? Or, should it be free sitting? For pre-defined sitting plan, the advantage is we will pack nicely together and no single-chair will be left un-occupied. If we go for free sitting, there is a risk that there will be single-chair left here and there, and make the families who come later have difficulty to have seats together for one family (as we have 110 seats and 110 participants, there will be no extra seat). Another option is that we follow the order that the families come into the reception, e.g. family one (2A1B1C) will sit at the first table first 3 seats, then, family two which comes after (3A1B) will sit next to family one... so on and so forth... (is my description clear??)

What do you think?

I need comments and advices from you mums on this:

(a) do we need to add 1 more drink ($10+10% service charge) for all adult?? This will make the fee changed from $80 to $90...

(b) pls review the food menu and let me know whether it is OK for you. We could exchange some items with others. E.g. the original menu offers Jelly Candy, but Mr Fong said it could be exchanged to Fruit Cake.

(c) Do we need Projector for TV/VCD/DVD projecting? Per AJ's comments, I assumed NO, but just want to make sure all mums have the chance to raise your comment.

For drinks, how about this... let's use "1 drink" as the default. If you need more drinks, please add $10+1 service charge (i.e. $11) when you transfer money to me, and let me know in your pm that you have added the extra drink and how many glasses. If you do not need the extra drink, please transfer the default price : $80 (adult) and $40 (child <3 yr) to me. This will allow more flexibility and mums/dads can decide whether to add drinks and how many to add.

其實可唔可以同cafe商討，按default一杯drink嚟計﹝即每人80蚊﹞，如果到時有需要而冇ticket攞野飲，就到時比11蚊即買，咁就唔會而家收咗錢又要到時記得比多張ticket個人攞野飲咁混亂，同埋講真，到時需唔需要，其實而家真係幾難決定，或者突然好thirsty想飲，之前又冇預備咁咪冇得飲......

另外，seating既問題，其實我覺得預早做咗會比較好d，因為可以一d比較相熟既媽咪可以坐埋一堆，會好chat d﹝例如7月媽咪或者8月媽咪可以分開兩張枱咁，因為其實之前係bk chat開大家講慣咗d話題都會容易入題d，起碼知道o個個人係邊個，個bb係邊個﹞，同埋其實我諗安排方便其實唔會太困難，只要cafe set定table no., 而係派name tag既時候係個name tag後面貼咗個table no.就好易搵.....

Agree. For drinks, if you can confirm you need extra, you can transfer the money to me, and I will provide extra drink coupon. If you want to order more at the party, you will need to pay at the spot ($10 plus 10% service charge). I will re-confirm with Mr. Fong about this arrangement. Thanks jollydophin for the idea.

For seating plan, actually, I think we will not have the exact seating plan beforehand as Mr. Fong said he will move the chairs around on that day. The idea of having 1 empty seat (without chair) every 2-3 adult seats is just a CONCEPTUAL idea, regarding how to implement this idea physically, I think there is no strict rule. So, a similar option to jollydophin's suggestion is (I discussed this idea with AJ earlier as well): If you want to sit with some other families, pls approach the reception together (e.g. wait at the sofa area until all your friends arrive), in this way, you could have the nearest seats with your friends. Is this acceptable?

For projector, let's assume we will NOT need it.

All,

I have just pm'ed all of you the instruction of transferring the money (before 11:59pm of Jan 7 (Friday)). If you do not receive the pm, please pm me asap. I found some bk usernames very similar to some of you, so, there might be mistake in picking the usernames from the bk's list.

If you have problem in transferring the money before Jan 7 midnight, please let me earlier (before 11:59pm Jan 7) and we could discuss how to solve the problem.

If you decide to cancel the booking, please let me know in advance.

If I do not receive the money by 11:59pm Jan 7 and I do not get any upfront pm from you saying that you encounter problem in transferring, I will assume you decide not to join us, and the seats will be allocate to the people in waitlist.

Should we make some 紀念品 (like t-shirt with the wordings, key-holder with the prints, etc.) to memorize this "寶寶½生日會" function? If so, what are the things we could make? Please kindly brain-storm.

I read some other BK forums that some mums made the "Chop" (like the company chop, but printed with BB's photo and name). Another idea, a few months ago, I helped me friends to order "電腦名字嘜頭" with BB's name on it (the 電腦名字嘜頭 can be used to 縫 onto clothes/school-bag/etc as an identifier)...
