L blok is staff clinic.. if you are GS/relative of GS, or HA staff, you can book FU at L block..
Acc is for general public.. (also, if you are GS or HA staff), u can book appt at ACC
the difference is that at L block, there is the same doctor to assess you during the follow up of your pregnancy.. in ACC, is not...
you're right.. there are midwifes in both AC and L block!
you are GS? :-P

你keep住少食多餐啦....咁你會舒服d...因為食得太飽有時會頂住好辛苦架...我一路都無咩食多左野....到依家都係咁好似同未有bb時食量差唔多...但就到5個月到先開始重..

唔係係1st檢查時抽血0架,因為你去L BLOCK book期.佢分分鐘比2個月之後你1st Check-up...但係又好似要係唔知幾多週之前要抽血,(依個要問hellotaz啦!!!)so你去book期時最好親身去,咁就可以順便佢會幫你抽咗血先....!!!

icic.. we are in the same profession wor..
where are you working now? I'm work'g in QE la..

L-block is easy to be found.. just located in the main block.. 1st floor...

Does your sister visit Obs GP? If yes, just take the referral letter to register in L-block.. then the clerk will give your sister the first FU appt.. the 1st appt is to see by doctor.. for the blood taking, ppl can take it on the day of registry..

just inform your sister to register ASAP when she got the referral letter.. it's always fully booked in L block..

I registered in late of July and my 1st FU appt is in early Oct!!

hai ar.. larger and darker in colour.. ugly!!

the colour may lighter after you stop breastfeeding your bb.. but it takes time.. and will not 100% as the colour as b4.. same as the size...
get a good psychological preparation for it la..

no need to worry for the position of the placenta at the moment.. as it may change later..
so far you don't have spotting(blood or old blood passing out ), right?
if it's position is low.. that means it is located near the cervis.. it may increase the risk of spotting.. which is a sing of abortion.. then, resting is impt! And need to avoid taking heavy objects..
and if it is really low and at the cervix.. you may need operation to take out the bb..

for a normal pregnancy, the placenta will attach to the uterus wall... however, if there is 胎盤前置, the placenta is at the cervix.. theat means.. no exit for the bb to born.. so the pregnent woman need an operation to take out the bb la...

I just asked my colleague who is also a midwife.. comfirmed that now you need not to worry for the position of the placenta.. it's low at the moment.. but it's position will raise upper later.. be relax!
