Hi mums,
My family and I just moved to HK and we are living in TST at the moment. We are thinking of moving to Sai Kung, may I ask if any 西貢村屋 close to MTR station? We also would love to live close to some kindy and schools as well. Look forward to hearing from any of you. Thanks
Hello, I think most of the 西貢村屋 is not close to MTR station. Maybe you need to travel by van/bus. And I think my place is already very close to MTR station. It just need to take around 5 mins travel time from MTR station to my home. In fact, you may have another choice in Tseung Kwan O. e.g. 坑口村 But I think the environment in Sai Kung is better. You are working mom? If yes, I think it's quite tired to live in 村屋. I m now considering to move to some place which I can reach MTR station or supermarket on foot as I m a working mom and need to buy the food everyday after work. So tired!
Hi zzzlam,
Thanks so much for your comments. I went to KTO to check things out yesterday and found it a not bad place to live. I love the convenience and big shopping mall there. I was told that living Sai Kung is not as convenient as living in KTO. So, I think I am going to forfeit Sai Kung for KTO. I will look at more flats at KTO this afternoon and hope that we will find one we like. And, I am a full time mum at home, so I think KTO will give me more things to do e.g. shopping, taking the kids to do different things. But surely that Sai Kung has good beaches to go to. I definitely will visit there some time.
