Hi all,
I am a newbie here. My 4.5 year old son also goes to Cornerstone in the Silver Campus. He's in Senior Preschool and telling me that he's loving it and begged me to let him stay in that school. The majority of my friends' kids go there. So far I like them. The teachers are really nice and my boy had learned quite a bit from there. It's close to our home and long hours. It's very convenient for us who works from 8:30-5pm. His Chinese writing and reading are better than his dad almost. Also, I've enrolled my younger one already.

Hi Lingoo,

My kids are older, they will be seven and nine. I live in Daly City, that's why the kids are in Daly City school. The kids go to Chinese School on Saturday. To them, it it is not easy. They speak Chinese fluently. I think Cantonese is their first language. They seldom speak English to me though we have been here for five years. My little son started to school in US. He entered the preschool when he was 2 and half. I am not really worried about their English. I think they can pick it up later.

yes, seems like almost all of my friends' kids in SF/Daly City go to Cornerstone.

Nice to meet you too! My in-laws live in Daly City. We are always at their place on Sundays.

A mom of my son's schoolmate asked me the other day if I am interested in sending my boy to Mandarin class on Saturdays. I think it's a great idea. We are Cantonese speakers too. My son had been talking to us in his broken English since he started his Senior Preschool. We still try to get him to talk to us in Cantonese more because the grandparents won't understand English. Which Chinese school does your kids go to?
