Amanda... haha.. she plays hockey and football at school... just like a boy..
she growth up la.. when she was 3-4 years old, she only interested in cars, trucks, boats and planes.. now she is 5.. and she discovers princess lor...
daddy used his old video cam.. however, we can not upload to the internet.. very frustated..

真係好開心見到kick kick玩雪玩得咁鬼興奮呀, 如果俾vene睇到你d movie真係唔得掂呀, 實俾佢lur到暈

呢份工真係我打工以來最忙嘅一份, 唔好話上網, 連去廁所我都想可免則免, 今日為例, 8:45am到office, lunch time未完就做嘢, 但都8pm先收得工, 仲要"d人"覺得我做嘢慢, 我以前只有人話我快, 咁老實講, 我某個同事真係好smart & 做嘢好鬼快, 但我覺得係佢地快啫, 而且果個同事做左我工作範疇成4, 5年以上, 而我得年幾, 點可以比?! 過年放果2日假個dept head都有說話俾我聽, 話我地dept唔似其他dept d人咁放假放成10日8日咁過癮, 我地team人好enjoy工作, 放假點都會影響到其他同事, 佢就最唔鍾意旅行同放假, 喺hk同返工先係最開心, 有得炒股票, 又可打番兩圈, weekend就去馬交賭.....:;pppp:

都唔知咩嘢人嚟架, 將自己果套硬裝喺人地身上, shock架!!!

其實一開始是亞囡話想學游水先既,因為佢成日會經過屋苑泳池,佢就好鍾意停係度睇人游,都睇左有half year 架，summer 時又有帯佢去玩水，佢不知幾鍾意，之後咪問佢學游水好無，係佢自己話好既，可能佢以為我地會落水同佢一齊。

Every time she cried was right before the class, but when her 'Miss' hold her hand to the pool, she may settle down within a few minutes. Then will enjoy the class most of the time.

I am looking for an English course for my kid now as she likes to pretend she's speak English and like to read books. At the beginning, I am not looking for hooked on phonics, but after i read from other forums, some ppl said this one good as kid can really apply to use afterward.

Of course, kids no need to learn phonics in USA as English are their mother tongue language ma

yup.. for age 3+, hooked on phonics is the most popular one.. that is true.
you have to make sure that her cantonese base is solid, before you introduce it to her... as my friend's child.. was diagnosed... 廣東話語言遲緩.. because she was taught English when she was young, and end up, she was not able to pick up cantonese in hk. after that, she needs to have early intervention in hk at those speech therapy center. which cost almost HKD$900 per session. very expensive.

而家d人係咁架，唔好理佢地啦，我地一定要做到工作同家庭平衡先得架．佢地基本上就唔唔健康，咪呢佢地，最緊要做好本份就得。

我囡講野非常流利，只是個腦仔諗得快過把口，所以有些口窒窒。

之前我都係諗住同亞囡講英文，但當時我同事既仔仔因屋企有兩種語言而令仔仔語言發展得慢，我同事同我講要想清楚，學好一樣先一樣，的確亞囡真係講野比我叻，不過就好怕羞，似足我，都唔知點好，所以我諗比佢學應該無問題，只係諗緊比佢學 'hooked on phonics' or 'letterland phonics' 姐

then you can go for it.. as my friend's daughter just like your friend's son, suffer from speak delay. so I hesitate to encourage any family to start bilingual in early age..

唉~總之一言難盡

, 佢話我地team人enjoy工作..yes, BUT唔代表其他人唔enjoy放吓長假去遠少少玩囉, 我個個同事連個變態dept head都係準時收工架, 最多坐到6點, 最唔kur係我直屬上司日日係全team人最早走果個, 除左呢個上司同dept head外, 其他team member無論senior or junior, 個個都好好, 有時都會主動幫吓手, 係個所謂上司就從來只有講話幫, 但一次都冇幫過! 仲間唔中俾佢'線'親添, 有個senior嘅同事有時睇唔過眼又知的話就會靜靜雞"溫馨提示"我小心"蕉皮"

係呀, vene喺柏x學緊, 5個小朋友都玩得好開心, 不過個cource唔係100%時間教琴架, 最主要都係從遊戲中認識基本樂理, 俾佢地接觸吓琴就知道個小朋友對學琴有冇興趣~ vene都有心機練琴嘅, 我係驚佢3分鐘熱度啫, daddy成日話買座琴喺屋企, 咁我就唔洗吓吓帶vene去就近琴行練琴咁花時間, 但屋企太細喇, 根本騰唔出空間呢~

vene細個時佢daddy都係同佢講english, 其他人就同佢講cantonese, 唔知係咪咁vene都比較遲full sentence咁說話, 佢而家只肯講cantonese, english只會講d生字, 唔會full sentence咁講, 普通話直情抗拒, daddy有時喺屋企用電話傾公事時講普通話, vene就係咁喺旁邊問長問短, 叫daddy唔好講"pu tung hua"啦~咁..

i agree, that's why my younger son has lanuage delay due to the billingual language of both English and Cantonese, he got all the vocabs but without express in words. Then after the speech therapy, things work out for him.

Can fully understand the work stress and the unreasonable at work. But those has a job I think is hard to maintain too, depends on the job nature.

Rumor spread today there will have a huge lay off 700+ for PCCW due to their privatization. More people forced to be on leave with no timeframe to return to workforce.

My old company, investment bank, a blue blood UK firm has been joint ventured with JP Morgan 2 years ago, now JP Morgan wants to penetrate to the UK market, taken over the UK operation, the Regional office in Hong Kong has now merged with Standard Chartered Bank. 3 board rooms have been reserved today to make the execution, expect some colleagues might go.

So busy or not is really put in a passive mode at this moment of time.
