SCEA 發表 PS3 80GB 新款式 現有 60GB 款式將降價 100 美元

美國新力電腦娛樂（SCEA）今日發表，將於 8 月在北美地區推出 PS3 80GB 新款式主機，定價 599 美元，並自即日起將現有 60GB款式主機定價由 599 美元調降為 499 美元。 本次所發表的北美版 PS3 80GB 款式，規格與先前韓國版 PS3 80GB款式相同，都是採用歐洲版的精簡化新設計搭配 80GB 大容量硬碟，並將同梱附屬《摩托風暴》遊戲。
現有的 PS3 60GB 款式主機仍將繼續販售，定價並將調降 100 美元，由原來的 599 美元降為 499 美元，更低階的 PS320GB 款式北美地區先前就已經停售，因此不受影響。 SCEA 表示，在光碟套裝遊戲部分，除了現有約 40款遊戲之外，並將於本會計年度前在北美地區推出超過 120 款新作遊戲。目前 PLAYSTATION Store 已推出超過 60種下載遊戲與遊戲相關內容，後續將推出更多下載新遊戲與「PS Home」3D 線上社群功能。
本次的降價措施僅限北美地區，其餘地區目前並未發表任何具體的降價計劃。根據日本媒體報導，SCEJ方面表示日本地區目前並無降價計劃。以今日匯率換算，北美 PS3 60GB 款式的新定價 499 美元相當於 61576 日圓，仍稍高於日本SCEJ 官方網購價格。

SonyCorp., the world’s biggest game-console maker, surprised the industryby cutting the price of the PlayStation 3 in the U.S. by 100 dollars,or 17 percent, responding to the widening lead of Nintendo Co.’s Wiiand Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360. StartingMonday, the current 60 gigabyte model will cost 499 dollars, down from599, in an effort to spur sales of the struggling video game console.The announcement came two days before the E3 Media & BusinessSummit in Santa Monica, California, where dozens of Sony rivalsMicrosoft Corp. and Nintendo Co. were expected to show off their latestgames and related products.
The price cut is part of the company’s upcomingstrategy of eventually offering downloaded high-definition movies,video games, movie trailers and demos, Sony spokesman David Karrakersaid. Karraker said Sony would use the E3 show to focus on two areas:ways to increase the number of consumers who own PS3s and otherproducts such as the PlayStation Portable handheld system, andexpanding the system’s library of available games. In April, Microsoftbegan selling a version of its Xbox 360 with a 120-gigabyte hard driveand a souped up high-definition video connection. Called Xbox 360Elite, the black-colored system sells for 479.99 dollars.

其實呢...ps2話摺話摺都仲有野出o下, 一定可以捱到換機既, 如果唔壞的話, 而家我部ps2已經開始唔多掂啦, 個手制勁唔妥, o個兩支野好實, 有時仲唔識回番去中間添, 又支支聲...至於部ps2, 已經好多舊碟都 ...

來自ps3fanboy網站的消息, 提到有關Immersion公司的專利許可文件, 裡面有一段提到:
"in September 2007, will begin distributing peripherals for SonyPlayStation products in North America. Under the terms of the license,these products will now bear Immersion's Feel The Game® TouchSense®Technology logo."
(2007年九月份開始,將開始在北美發布ps用週邊,基於許可條款,這些產品將附上TouchSense技術標誌)
