Thanks very much for your call on Tuesday, I felt much better after talking to you. I am now busying with finding helper and I forgave my MIL already. You know, she is mother of my honey and grandma of my son, I really don't want to have bad relations with her law. I know how to deal with her from now on and hopefully I can manage my EQ well.

I think you cannot employ a overseas maid in time since the processing working visa for Philipino maid has to take 2-3 months at least. If you urgently want a maid I suggest you see if your friends or relatives have recommendations for you (maid whose cotract will soon be completed in HK), if it is the case, it only takes around 1 month or less to process the working visa and the related matter. Of course, she has to go back to the Philippines after one year as (if the maid re-employed in HK, the immigration dept will only issue a 1-year visa for her).

另外,你請oversea可以個幾月就得啦,只要你同agent講你有個newborn,寫信去入境處,佢地會做快証呀,agent會幫你攪呢.上次我11月15號開始攪,1月6日就到港啦.而現成就要4星期,但我問過d賓賓,佢地話其實2-3個星期就得啦,local會收貴d,但你可以face to face interview.不過個個都吹水湊過bb呀,就算話香港無經驗就話喺星加坡有咖,一係就話湊過細佬妹,或者自己有bb,有個重離普,話自己未婚,但有個小朋友,你考佢地點換片要注意d乜呀,點掃風呀,要掃幾耐呀.....等等,佢地係真定假,一問就知啦
你請local唔好請d未完約呀,因為佢地要番番自己個國家先,同埋比人抄都唔方好嘢啦.

If you really want to employ local maid, better ask the maid whether knows the procedures of applying visa and the related matters. If she can, you no need to go through agent for application. You can check the website of immigration dept, the procedures are clearly stated and all the forms and documents for downloading. My boss just fired her maid and she did all the paper works herself without going through the agency, of course her new maid knows how to apply the visa at the Philippino Consulate lah, but if the maid is experienced, they know how to deal with this kind of matter.
