I've stopped breastfeeding my baby for 5 days and she has been adapting full formula feeding quite well....poo poo is less frequent and less waterly (about 1 per day now). Now, I feed her 6 meals a day, 5-6 oz per meal. I will feed her some water at the interval if she needs (her mouth is dry 2 hrs after meal). She will not drink water unless she is very thirsty. Maybe, the weather is chanigning (getting cool), she sometimes have blocked nose and "nose water".
Besides, I want to ask some questions, please advise.
1. What will you put on to smoothen/moisturize the nipples? I didn't put anything on it during breastfeeding period except the mama milk. My nipples seems so dry now. Can I put vaseline or olive oil on it?
2. Do we need to wear bra at night time now(for supporting)?

I am using Dr. Brown. This brand is selling that BB get less air in. But I still 掃風. My BB usually can get the air out straight away very easily. I don't know if the the bottle helps or it's my BB effort.
My BB can drink usually 2.5 to 3 zo for 7 to 8 times a day. But she can sleep well. As long as your BB put on weight, I think it's OK. My BB is 7.3 when she born and now 10 pounds (6 weeks)

Thanks for your sharing. I am using NUK bottles, the same brand for my elder daughter. But the two babies "performed" very differently. My NB baby now takes about 18 - 24 oz a day and has been putting on weight (from 7lb4oz on day 1 to about 8lb3oz on day 21). I am just thinking whether I should give her less milk but more frequently to improve her "performance", yet my doctor says I should keep the feeding schedule to at least 3hrs or 3.5 hrs/feeding ?-(
It's become cool and please prevent from taking cold when breast feeding. Last week, I try to BF my girl and I caught a cold. My cold infected my whole family. I took BB to see doctor this morning as she has a little bit running nose. I have not touched her for several days and still she was infected!!! Thus, pls take good care of your health.

My doctor said BB gain 200g per week in average. Thus, if his / her progress is OK, no need to force her to increase / decrease his usual milk intake.

因為我都係, 大囡02年1月, 第二名(囡)就9月21日出世, 我就覺得對第二個無咁上心同緊張, 不過就有少少內疚, 因為相比之下無乜時間理細囡 
仲要成日嘔奶 (我已經每安掃一次), 出街唔知點算 :evil:
