Ironically my family in China have been staying safe from #coronavirus but my sister’s family in US became sick. She hosted Super Bowl Party in her house. 2 families attended got sick. 1 friend recently returned frm Chongqing, China where there had been 300+ confirmed cases. Sick friends and niece have same symptoms! Niece had high fevers for days. Sis wants hospital to check for coronavirus but they say if she haven’t traveled to Wuhan or come into direct contact with confirmed cases of coronavirus patients then she doesn’t qualify for testing!!!

Doctor told her to go home rest and drink water, also said her lung seems healthy. But niece not getting better. Couple days later,At sis’ insistence, X-ray confirmed niece has pneumonia! Again hospital said niece not qualify for coronavirus testing per CDC guideline!!! Doctor just prescribed antibiotics but niece still not getting better!
Sis contacted county health department. Same response: niece not qualify for coronavirus testing!!!
Sis contacted all possible channels, same response. They will NOT Test niece for coronavirus!!!! Sis family lives in Silicon Valley

Democracy is just a term, one needs to look at how the government treats their people. Hong Kong government is a lot more humaine compared to the US government with this matter of the Diamond Princess Cruise ship.
