係lor都識了6年啦!!

extra-activies. . . . i feel ok, as from yr comment, 都係佢愛上的, no pressure at all. Just piano, 可以接受 bor!!

but, from your wording, I feel quite streeful is "In week day, school, tutorial centre, home online homework, home revision and then sleep (but already 10 o'clock). "

"Quite hard" for an age 6 gal, p1 Yiu Yiu, day by day, non stop!! Try to have some (maybe just 10-15 mins) playtime for her. 以前 happy kinder-life, suddently changed!!

"你喊都唔會理你, 係你唔理我先!" -- Refer to this sentence. 你係唔係 always OT, late back home? Or, 你有無關心下佢學校的生活 (唔計學術野)?

my gal 好 like 同我一齊 shower (唔係日日, as 我唔太 like, I enjoy shower at my own),都係一個好好的chatting時間, 咩都傾, 咩都share, 又可以教佢d女仔野.

唔多太多 compare with others classmates. 我有時都會問人地幾多分, 其他人考成點之類...etc, 不過, 問完都知唔係甘好. then收番 & said "都唔使同人地比較既, 自己做好先啦!!"

do you still have reading time with her before sleep? I keep on it, sometimes, daily news from Sing Tao, or story or books. . . . .just about 5-10mins!! She loves it very much.

其實由放工 back home 至 her sleeping time, 都只是好短時間, 得果 3 幾小時, 要好好珍惜丫!!!

我相信沉重的功課與考試壓力是主因,莫講她只是一個六歲的小孩,即使是成年人,也不會喜歡這樣的生活,情緒當然不好.
10pm才睡對一個小孩來說,似乎是夜了一點.
其實妳覺得每天兩小時的補習對她來說有效嗎?正如我上次跟妳說,如果換一個上門一小時,能否也能達到同一效果?如果可以,那她便可以省下一個小時.以我觀察,小孩子都不愛上補習社的.
不坊與她一起訂立時間表和一些獎勵計劃,讓她能更有效地分配自己的時間.
以哥哥為例,每當他有一些好行為時,例如讀一篇文章,溫故知新取得滿分,功課取得甲,練琴,自動自覺完成一項功課或串字等,都可以得到一個貼紙,集齊一定數量的貼紙就可以得到不同的獎勵,如到樓下踏單車,一隻出奇蛋,小玩具,到海洋公園等.這樣,他會有更大的動力.
另一方面,她有這樣的感覺,會否因為她覺得妳只關心她的學業? 作為媽媽,當然希望自己的兒女不要落後於人,但同時,自己會否不自覺地忽略了一些更重要的事情.當bb還在我們的肚裏時,大家不是都希望他們能健康快樂地成長嗎?但隨著他們日漸長大,好像忘記了我們當初最基本的要求似的.
亦如benben所講,閱讀是十分重要,,無論多忙,最少十五分鐘的親子閱讀時間是不可少的,雖然閱讀並沒有即時的效果,但它的威力卻相當大.
現在最重要的,是要讓她感受到妳對她的愛,要她明白,妳所做的一切都是為了她.

Many thanks indeed to both! Yes, i agree that one of the major reasons is heavy study load. So, right now, these two weeks, I seldomly do revision with her at home as the tutorial centre has already done this (e.g. pre-dictation). I did keep on reading story books for her before sleep but usually she fells asleep easily as she is too tired.

If ten o'clock is too late for sleep, when do your kids go to bed? I used to have timetable for her but right now without the maid and I rely on bobo, difficult to implement as I can't push bobo to have dinner early. Bobo is also hard in helping me in taking care her.

Re heima's suggestion, we (I, hubby and bobo) think that going to tutorial centre is still necessary for her as she is very 唔遵心 if stays at home. Recall 由細到大, 你地見佢都係唔定! Also, one key point, the centre is very familar with the school's requirement and approach and right now many schoolmates join recently!

Having said that, relationship for these two weeks have improved a bit. Thanks for your advices.

Let's talk something happy:

I have chosen a maid yesterday, Indonesian, worked in HK for 2 years, currently taking care of 2 kids at 7 and 2. Not really an ideal one but i have already approached 5 agents and wait for 2 weeks. Can't wait anymore!

What's your Easter plan? Going trip? Yiu Yiu requests for "Cheung Loong" and I'm searching info.

Easter Plan . . . booked ticket and hotel, will go to Taipei for 5 days, with another 2 families (8 adults, 5 kids). Want to try that "babyboss" for a long time, and will go to zoo/park/hot spring!! i enjoy crazy eating everywhere @ nite market!! Will go to BOOK STREET to buy books tim!!

Cheung Long -- Good. really can go and go again! If summer, can go to the water world wo!!

我現在仍keep住他們9pm上床,最遲也不會超過9:30pm.我覺得睡眠對小孩子來說十分重要,所以當到了睡眠時間,便會把其他東西放低.
同意benben講法,請工人真係講彩數. 那麼,妳簽了約沒有?在港現成工人,應該一個月左右可以上工喎!

我會與家人一行16人到東莞嘉輝會玩,本來打算去青青世界,但因為已經full咗,唯有改去嘉輝會.

Re sleep, as very cold these 2 nights, I also ask her to go to bed before 930, without practicing the piano.....

Re maid, when finish contract, she would like to go back home for 1 month, expected to join us in May. While agent said try to convince her not back home but hubby and I don't want her to have home sick and we want her to do the job happily. 情願捱多陣!

Re Easter plan, wah 16 people, such a big family!

Re summer plan, many friends recommend and plan about 世博 in 上海.

Yes. Agree. Sleeping is very important to kids. I will force my gal to sleep in between 9:30-10:00. Once she jump into her bed. she can sleep in one minute.

while my boy is pm class, so i can enjoy playing and chatting with him from 10pm -11pm.

Taiwan - last time, I did not bring kids. Only go with some ladies friends, shopping and eating.

今次大不同, 會去好多小朋友景點, 沒有太多shopping, 佢地都唔肯行啦.

Yiu Yiu had also seen 喜羊羊電影 in CNY and she also loved it very much. While I have bought her comics, I don't know if there is any 喜羊羊 book. Where to buy? Also, do u know if there is any DVD? I have bought some "copied version" but the quality is not that good. As she likes this very much, I want to buy the original for her. I like 喜羊羊 DVD because it's in Putunghua.

Yes, i think it will be quite crowded as this is an international function but a few friends said that it's necessary as 通識. I haven't decided yet.

By the way, I'm old, sometimes, cannot afford "sunshine"!!!

係丫. 各大書局都有喜羊羊書, 7.11 有時都有架. e+ 出到 Book 3. 而new year套movie都另有書, 唔太多字, 有小小graphics, ok架.

if 買大陸書, 有1set set架, 仲平, 連埋 PTH DVD. 你去下 d 大6書店看看啦.

last year, been to 懇丁, quite good, leisure and eating, and the Kid's Hotel suits the kids well! Even i'm happy with the cartoon characters!

Yesterday morning, still planning for Easter Trip, thought about Thailand as not expensive with eating and swimming. Luckily, not enrolled yet. This afternoon, confirmed Taipei.

hey, I checked with several big book stores. It's very easy to buy the books/comics but difficult to find any DVDs!
