I saw your link about your job in 自由講場. Don't feel 唔開心 la, ok la ?

Every office workers in HK are like that. I have been working in several big companies for many years. The longest one was 10 years and I had to resign relunctantly because my boss was played by office politics, and I being the scapegoat.

These few days, I was depressed too because I faced another 卸膊, not from bosses but from peers and colleagues.

ok la,

I mean to delay the grade 7 exam till 09-10 syllabus, when I have more time to brush up my technique and build up my own repertoires. I still do not have the nerve to play a whole piece confidently in front of my friends, or relatives. :-| :-|

But my Miss said AB may change the scales and some other conditions starting in 2009. I am not sure yet :cry: ?-(

YanYan,

I practise piano around one hour per night during weekdays, normally from 11:00 p.m. to 12:00, with the middle pedal suppressed, so as not to disturb other family members and neighbours. At weekends, it is more than 1 hour.

In general, I only practise those new pieces that my Miss assigns me during lessons. At present, I have 5 to 6 piano books, not including the exam pieces.

Car Car,

My Miss is a really a good teacher. She teaches full time and at present has around 50 students already. What I respect her most is that she doesn't mind teaching adult learners like me. (I think I am the oldest and the slowest in learning among all her students).

Where do you live. Which district?

見到你地講工作上既不快事, 其實我每天都一樣對住d玩politics既boss, 卸膊既peers...
有時都會好忟憎, 不過都開始睇化...鬼叫我窮呀, 頂硬上啦!

所以有時彈下琴可以減壓...

p.s. 我覺得你地好犀利呀, 可以有恆心考到咁高級, 我就已經係中學時考到6級後已放棄

anyway, 繼續努力呀!

catyam, I totally agree with your "鬼叫我窮呀, 頂硬上啦!". That's what in my mind until my son reaches the age to live a life of independency. :lol:

Don't give up piano playing especially you have grade 6 level before. Try taking up again when you can have your own free time. :lol:
