因為我工人係early release.如果無僱主release letter 或fax 張form, 新嘅working visa start day 只可以係舊working visa expire 後。

I see, I'm about to hire a maid who broke a contact more 10 months ago, so I guess I don't have the same issue then? Her contract would have finished on Aug this year I think if she didn't break the contract. I guess her visa would have expired?

break contract 要經agent 做，同我嘅case 唔同。我工人係完約。

正常應該可以, 我上次都等咗 1.5 hrs .. 不過好難講, 要睇有幾多人

Because the person is the sister of someone we know. We believe her story and are willing to give her a go, so I hope she won't disappoint us.

I think we would be taking as much risk to hire someone already working in hk, or a complete stranger from overseas. Knowing her sister is a hard working and a very nice person, I think we can trust them....so...let's wait and see!

我一向都唔贊成請斷約, 更加唔會信 " her sister " .. 佢 hard working and nice person .. 又如果, 唔代表呢個斷約都一樣..咁點解會斷約呢 ??

我開呢個 post 口嘅目的係一定要 "完約" .. 減低失敗嘅風險.. 所以我唔認同你嘅做法

I believe everyone has their own story, yes there may have been a lot of liars, but everyone is an individual. There is no guarantee a person who has completed a contract is a good worker, in fact you know how picky and dodgy can be for those who are already in hk and are waiting to complete their contract. Have you not ever worked in a job when you think you can't stand the boss or the company or your colleague? 2 years is not a short time to put up with something or someone you don't like. Anyway I'm not going to explain her story. We have decided to take a level of risk based on the information we have received.

Anyway I think it's a gamble for every employer to hire a new person...we can only hope for the best....
