You can edit a photo by yourself and ask the shop to print it as regular digital photo:
4R ~ 4" (H) x 6" (W)
ID photo ~ 2"(H) x 1.5"(W)
So 4R can have 8 ID photos.
What I did:
1) Take a few photo against a plain wall with as much as natural light as possible + flash (I used IXUS40)
2) Chop the photo with ratio 4:3
3) resize the chopped image to around 2"x1.5"
3.1) Modify the background color if you want to.
4) Create a new JPEG with size 4"x6"
5) paste the chopped/resided image to the new JPEG.

I guess they may have reserved some place for the ones in standy queue. But you can always ask the staff before you queue. There's also a sign telling you how long will it take to queue. It seems pretty accurate.

No & don't know. But if not many things to bring, you should try to take MTR at least once, to ride the Disney line. We don't leave the train for the first time to take some photo on the way back to Sunny Bay.
And to have a better view of firework display, you should find a spot where you could see the Castle of Sleeping Beauty clearly. There are special lighting effort on the Castle. DisneyLand Railway station should be the best spot.
