真好!有人陪我做母乳媽咪,我都想餵得幾耐得幾耐,因為母乳bb真係強壯好多,我大囡依家25個月大,出世以來都只係睇過四次醫生,而且次次都係小事(例如卒得眼多有少少發炎).

見你囝囝抓到個頭損晒,真係幾肉"尺",不過我估個個bb都有d僻好,只係睇下係邊種.初三仲攪笑,著親褲ku住條腰就周身唔舒服,唔除左佢就點都唔訓覺,攪到我買落d靚褲仔都無得比佢著.

my daughter same as your 正正, like eat 糊仔 much, but I am afraid she doesn't drink milk when she taste
糊仔.......so I just give a little bit to her to taste and let her to learn how to eat the solid food!!!!!

my daughter same as 正正 drink a bottle of milk need one hour so poor!!!!! Hope our baby can improve it as soon as possible!!!!

It's me again! Mo2! From the pic of the gathering It must be fun. I love the pic the all the cutie bb and pretty mom took together. I wish we were here. Whenis the next gathering? I have some questions to ask u moms, Ihaven't feed solid food to my bb yet cus my doctor told me very serious that "feed solid when he gets 6 months old". what isthe first solid food give to ur sweetie? (besides rice cereal) Iread some of the bb here are teething. I dun know is my bb teething, he is drooling all the time and kind of cranky too. What can I do to stop the pain? And aslo my bb tyler trying to rolo over on one side but he seems like dun know how to sit yet or holding the bottle? Do ur baby know how to holdthe bottle by himself/herself? Iam kind of worry!!! He seems likehe is not to bright using his hand beside ptuing in his mouth. THanks......

Dear all mama,

I have started to give some fresh apple (made by myself) for Charlotte two weeks ago, but she only took the first spoon.

Then I tried to give her the "Gerber" sweet potato last Friday, Sat & Sun, she rejected them all. Also, her face told me that she doesn't like it.

I will try to give her the "Henz" Carrot this week and see.

Today, my friend (her son is born on 10 Jan) told me that her doctor suggest it is time to give 米糊 for her baby. And she is going to give it to him soon.

I think this may vary baby from baby. As for me, may be I will also try to give my baby some fresh juice in this weekend or next. But it success or not, will all depends on her. I think we may try but not pushing them to take it.

FYI, my baby also still unable to turn around (180 degree) yet, she can only turn 90 degree in both sides. But it really has improved as she can only turn one side last week. So, don't worry too much, it doesn't matter for the time when they can reach the standard, it is alright as long as they are healthy.

Don't worry, be happy! Especially for mo2 :-P

Remember last time you said you will be back to H.K. in Dec or early Jan, so I think we can have a gathering at that time if most of the mama are available.

It is really a nice gathering to meet all of your family especially your lovely baby! My husband also find it very interesting. :-P

My friend (who gave birth on 10 Jan) said she would also like to join us in our next gathering. I start to think when will be our next gathering :-P. May be 2 or 3 mths later

dear all moms,

I also tried to give Hayhay some apple-mesh, but she refuse ar. I will keep on trying ga la.

For cereal, may be a week later la, Hayhay is still small only 4+month.

BTW, I find that Hayhay was hot every morning, I measure her temp. around 37.5. But everything is normal, play, eat, drink and sleep well. Anything wrong? Pls advise, it really make me worry!!

Yes, professional's general guideline is to start solid food only when baby is 6 months' old. But you can start earlier if your baby shows most of the following signs: 1) your baby has good control of his/her head and neck so that she can lift up his/her head easily. 2) he/she is not drooling severly (which means that he/she can swallow) 3) shows a lot of interest when he/she sees other's eating.

In my case, my baby girl shows all of the three signs and that she resisted drinking breastmilk from bottle when I am away from home from 3 months' old onward. So last time I ask the health clinic if I can feed her cereal. The nurse said that in this case I should give a go. But the nurse advised: Not to rush into replacing one milk feed with one cereal feed. Not to make cereal very thick. Not to offer other kinds of food besides cereal. Now my maid feeds my baby girl this way once every day. First, offer breastmilk in a bottle (she would only suck 1 or 2 ozs). Then, offer cereal (mixture of 1.5oz. breastmilk with 1.5 tablespoon of Heinz cereal). Then, feed about 3 oz of breastmilk with a spoon. My maid said it only take 20 minutes to go through all these three steps and then baby will be full and happy.

I think I can pass you a weblink about guidelines on feeding solid food to baby when I get home. Now I don't have it at hand.

Would you like to try some natural herb tea that helps to increase breastmilk? I've tried a natural herb called "Nettle". It's good for increasing breastmilk and to provide iron for bf mothers (bf mothers easily run out of iron. You can find it in GREAT (at Pacific Plaza, Admiralty).

唔知係咪bb開始唔鍾意飲奶, 即所謂"厭奶期", 書上說這情況通常於bb 4-5個月大時出現, 所以這時候可以給bb 食固體食物, 但我bb 食左兩日糊仔, 每日一次,每次我用一安水開, 你知唔知係咪比多d糊仔就可以比少d 奶奶?

好呀!!! Let's have another round of gathering in Dec/Jan05!! 我相信呢次gathering會有更多fun as most babies should be able to crawl/start walking already!!
Btw, 想請問各位, Justin佢愈黎愈naughty, 佢開始食人奶時含住nipple黎"妹"!! 雖然佢未有teeth, 但都好鬼死痛呀呀呀呀呀呀!! 唔比佢食佢又喊到天搖地動!! 點算呀?!?!

唔知係咪個個bb都係噤, Justin剛起身時成個人都係"興烚烚"架!! 佢頭仔瞓果個位, 仲會濕左一個oval形一達架!! 但係佢已經無/只"kum"一張好thin既毛巾被!! So, 我估Hay Hay都係正常多as she shows no abnormal behavior!!
