I agree with what you said, 各人可以對每件事有自己睇法,這是民主嘅基礎
But hear me out - having a Govt that the majority of its people supprt and a Govt leader who is elected by and for the people is the foundation to good 民生. I don't think people can disagree. The pro-dem camp is fighting for true universal suffrage where there is no pre-selection of candidates. Whether this is realistic, I'm not sure, but this is the goal they are shooting for.
Unless there is a referendum on the topic of political reform in HK, no one really knows for sure if voters in HK support it. IF the proposal doesn't pass Legco this June, voters who support the reform can vote out pro-dem councilors in the election in 2016, if they indeed are the majority in HK, right? Then, the Govt can bring back the same proposal to Legco and it would pass without doubt, just in time to be implemented in 2017.
So if you really think the majority of HK voters support the political reform, just wait patiently for another year to see what you wish for. And if it turns out that the pro-dem camp can stay a significant minority in the 2016 Legco election, then maybe HK voters do not support the reform as much as the media claims.
