Calling toto & BigMac16, I can't believe it. I looked up previous threads & found we actually talked about ski resorts in Korea last year http://www.baby-kingdom.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=3386553&extra=&page=3 ! We all went skiing and do it again this winter!

I have booked Alpensia under the pay 2 stay 3 promotion but Yongpyong suddenly called & found me a room for 2 nights (3rd night is fully booked). I don't know what to do. YP definitely has more ski slopes which my kids prefer but more expensive (double the price of Alpensia), yet it saves me from commuting between the two resorts. YP is more accessible too from Incheon airport but I may have to go to Alpensia for the third night cos YP is full. Gosh, what a headache!

Hi jsmami, glad to know you will go skiing again this year... Will you be there in x'mas or Chinese new year? I will spend 6 days in ski resort in CNY, but didn't use the stay 2 get 1 free promotion coz I found its not as cheap as advance booking rate...... Anyway, YP is definitely larger and much more slopes compared to alpensia......
For your case, maybe you can takes the 2 nights in YP and book 1 night in alpensia (use advance booking rate), or stay all the way in alpensia but ski in YP (we might ski in YP for 1 or 2 days as well.)

BigMac16,I have given up our air tickets during CNY and will go in xmas instead cos my in law may want us to be around in CNY. I just looked up Intercon's website but can't find advance booking rate - it may not be applicable to me cos it's less than one month before our stay. I notice that you & toto will spend quite some time in S.Korea. This is our 4th trip already. Anything new & interesting to explore near Seoul?

你邊幾日住YP呀? 我x'mas and cny都住YP喎! YP收你幾錢晚呀? YP真係好好玩, 好多slope, 一定有一條岩你地. 我就好like係YP玩, 不過玩beginner既yellow and new yellow slope就會好多人, 如果你去mega green或以上既slope小好多人架! 又好玩好多.我地去滑雪唔止去左4次LU. 睇下我地係x'mas遇唔遇到.
至於滑完雪出返首爾我地會去南怡島, 之前都去過, 不過想再去. 如果你有小朋友, 而小朋友又9 years old以下去下三星既兒童博物館都幾好, 仲有可以去下首爾大公園(唔記得個名係唔係甘, 我4月先去完), 都唔錯架.

早晨兩位，我都去過韓國n次，其實真係有些boring, 不過冇計啦貪佢平過日本一大節。toto, 你話嗰個係唔係兒童大公園呀？我今次可能去Pororo主題管行吥，因為亞中意Pororo.....又或者去慶州行吥。我會過來YP 揾你，到時再約啦！

兒童大公園同首爾大公園(真係記得係唔係叫首爾大公園)係2個唔同既公園, 坐既車都唔同架.

I got up early too! 6:xx every morning to see my kids to school :( !

YP Dragon Valley Hotel costs me KRW270,000 a night (incl. 10%). I book direct. Can it be cheaper through agent? I went to Nami Island once. It was nice. We liked it. I'm not sure if we shall go there again though.

I wish I had air tickets to Sapporo. It's so diff from Seoul but no luck. I find Korea quite boring though my husband and kids insist having a ski trip in winter! I'll be there Dec 22-25. Toto?

其實防風衫褲都ok. 大人唔駛買雪褲都ok. 小朋友買一條保險D. 如果跟團就唔駛太重裝備, 因唔駛四圍行同等車.

Hi bbeasy25,I had reserved seats for the shuttle bus from Seoul to Alpensia today.I called this reservation number (82 2 2201 7710) , but they did not give me any reservation reference number after I made the reservation.(they only put down my name, number of passengers, which station to take the shuttle bus, and the date)

btw, do u if there's only one bus going to Alpenisa from Seoul? cos this schedule is very early, see if there's any later schedule...

do u know if there are more buses going to Yongpyeng? if yes, taking bus/taxi to Alpenisa is also another way?
