From your view, u may think that they only play play at school during that 3 hrs, actually they did learn much. Just after 1 month's school, my daughter sing at home, ask me about colour. She also play "teacher & student" w/ her lovely dolls. She became less rely on us, not often ask us to hold her, having meal by herself.....For me, I don't expect her learn much 中英數 at the moment, so I satisfy w/ what she gained after the few month's N1 life. I feel that my daughter also enjoy the school life lei.
As said by cway, N1 is a time for the bb to get used to school life. It may be the most "comfortable" time during her whole learning life.
