yeah I agree with u that house in Sg is bigger than those in HK...

where about do u live in Sg?
my hubby family live in Bukit Tima??

Oh so good that u can be a full time mum and teach part time too.
I always think its a blessing to be able be a full time mum and spend more time with yr child while they need u most.
Enjoy the lovely time with yr baby.
u plan to have more child?
sg gov't encourage people to have more child.

I think the support from gov in sg is bigger than in HK/ UK..

by the way, I will be going to Sg during x'mas to see my in law..
so will be having a hot x'mas this year

我有聽過你講的兩間playgroups, 但我同阿仔報了Julia Gabriel 星期六上堂, 聽講都唔錯, 但係waiting list, 唔知幾時先知得唔得.

另外我報了playgroup-Apple Tree, 應該係幾local的playgroup, 但聽講都OK, 我會先比佢讀幾個月(每星期五日每日個半鐘), 唔好先換, 因為我住的地方太遠, playgroup又無校車, 唯有咁安排住先.

如果你仔仔下年二月才滿兩歲, 正式來講應該2008年才讀書, 因為以我所知, 新加坡是以出生年份來計算(不計何月出生), 例如2004出生的在2007就可以申請讀playgroup, 在新加坡好似四歲先讀幼稚園, 三年後才讀小學, 比香港遲一年, 總之真係要花D時間去了解新加坡的敎育制度, 如果在香港, 就唔係問題, 起碼可以問下有仔女的同學朋友就有詳細資料.

Hi all,
我第一次留言, 因為實在想不到呢度有這個主題. 我都係香港人, 16歲跟家人移民黎新加坡, 讀中學,初院,大學,宜家0係新加坡教小學. 我丈夫都係香港移民, 可謂有緣千里能相會.
我個仔17個月大. 宜家0係infant care. 幾好嫁.
下個星期我會帶阿仔返香港holiday.
我住係呢度十幾年,或者可以解答到大家少少問題0既. 關於湊仔,就要互相交流了.

之前BK mami sunflowersg都有介紹 Julia Gabriel,但好似價錢都幾貴?

睇過 Apple Tree網頁介紹,好像不錯,係唔係要你和他一同上堂的?如果好的話,我都等阿仔大啲帶他到那裡上堂.

係呀,我都睇過有關網頁話3歲讀Nursury,4歲先開始讀K1.

我係全職媽媽呀, 你就好啦, 起碼你可以係屋企教piano, 我都唔知可以做什麼啦!
我多數都係做家務, shopping, bring baby to play group la, 而我join playgroup 就係 Rhythm in me - music class, 同 busy buddy - drawing, eating, singing!

hey, I want to tell you that the internet connection in singapore is quite ok now, I feel baby kingdom is working more faster than before also, actually starhub change their speed from 2000 to 4000, may be you can ask your friend to try on it!

I would like to ask a Question,
我都係香港人 but live in UK and my hubby is Singaporean.
we will be coming to Singapore for holiday between 20 DEc and 1 Jan.

We are planning to have baby next year and would like to have a pre-pregnacy test before we have baby.
I checked with HK Family Plan org, they can carry out the test for us but need to wait for 3 months for the results of which we don;t have much time in HK.

Would there be anyone know if there similar service in Singapore? Private or public? how much?
where I can find such information? (ie what kind of tests included? how long to wait for the results etc)

Many thanks for your advice in advance

Maybe you want to check with "Thomson Medical Centre" here, see whether they have such service. It's a private hospital here specialise in 生仔.

呀,問番d正經嘢先,我想問你知吾知woodlands邊間小學好? 係咪1km distance 真係咁重要? 我聽聞如果要入好既學校,2-3年前家長就要做volunteer, 我同我老公都吾係本地人,咁咪實冇分加? 我囡囡04年出世,係咪而家要揾小學啦? 係咪好誇張? 我雖然都嚟左sg 8年,除左邊到shopping至醒之外, education我真係好blur, 請指教! 些些!

佢4月出世,即是3歲幾都仲讀緊pre-nursery! bb時打針比香

i guess u can go ahead to any private gyane for check up, i remember before i got pregnant, i went to a gyane for check up too, but i hardly remember the cost coz it was 3+yrs ago and since it's a private gyane, the result can be known in just a few day if i'm not wrong.

dear all,
just now i was driving to town area and on the way on CTE, it got 2 times of car crashed, then on the way back, luckily my hubby was driving and we got 3 times of car crashed, can u believe it? and the most scary one was just in front of us, i saw a truck was crashed in the middle of 2 other big trucks and it quickly swung to the next lane, perhaps i saw it in eyes so i was so scared and luckily i wasn't the one to drive; otherwise i must scare not to response it quick, what a crashing nite tonite!

唔好話你, 我自己個仔17個月only,宜家有時都會唸下第時讀邊間小學.因為唔想佢讀我教緊個間,所以一0的優勢都無.
其實呢度小一派位情形同香港差唔多,有兄姐就最好.其次就係距離. 如果唔係公民或PR, 就最後至選學校了. 有0的名校less than 1km,都要抽籤.
至於做義工, 就可以排在"兄姐"之後,"距離"之前,但唔知人地受唔受你玩lor. 我有個堂哥住呢度,雖然兩個女都係公民了,但今年搬左去間名校隔離住啊.
