Did anyone get a humidifier at home?
Is it useful?
My husband always feel dry at home, he want to buy a humidifer but what I saw in the store seems very small,
I don't know whether it is useful or not?
We have a central humdifier for the whole house. Also we have a cool mist and a warm mist humdifier in our rooms because Caron has eczema and it will relieve her dryness.
You can check the area it can apply for the machine. Some machine is more powerful and can cover bigger area.
yes, we too, have the central humidifer set to be around 40... then occassionally turn on the portable one in my 99's bedroom if my 99 feel dry.
we bought that one from walmart. a small one but good enough for a bedroom of about 10 x 11 area. turn it on from 11:00pm till next morning about 9:00am...
when I was in the condo (before my 99 come) we only bought 1 humidifier, since we are either in the living room, or bed room, so we simply move the humidifer around wherever we are...
as we don't plan to buy so many stuff at that moment, since we already planned to buy a house at that time..
so this spare one now just for my 99 to use..
unless you planned to live in the condo apart in the future, wonder if you really need 2 units or just like us, buy 1 unit and just move it around.
I guess we will just buy one for now and move it around like what you did before. (Though we have no intention to move in the near future). Just like what you said, we will just be either in the living room or bedroom but not both at the same time :))
I see. No wonder you disappear for a while la...
So are you still busy at work now, has everybody at your house recovered?
Thanks for your suggestion about humidifier. Yeah.. I guess I will try to get one which haveboth cold and warm air.
My husband is filling the bath tub with water again la and he is suggesting me to wet the towel and put it everywhere in the apartment. I guess I need to get it soon before my husband screw up the apartment :)))
everyone enjoyed the extreme cold alert weekend?? we stayed home warm and cozy to watch the DVD movie, while my 99 insisted to go out... with no "down" feather jacket, no snow boot... we gave up.. just let our Big BIL to handle her... hope she is fine...
I guess your mother in law still enjoy the life in HK that she could go out all the time.
We went to try Wasabi (all you can eat Japanese/Chinese buffet) on Saturday. Althought the price is a little higher than others, we were all satisfied with the quality of food and atmosphere of the place.
My hubby always wanna bring Caron to tobogganing again, but I think the weather is too old for her to play outdoor.
And she got an allergy last week and her eye was like an egg; only able to see a line in her eye. :-(
yes, we know 99 like to go out all the time, but we will judge from the weather where to take her... with this kind of weather, would only take her to those with underground parking, like "times square".
but BIL live in Etobicoke, the closest restaurant will be in missisauga in the street plaza... that's why we worry.
I heard wasabi is good, try make reservation few times, but only got the late booking (8:30pm) so we give up...
tobaggan, have you bought all the necessary equpment for Caron? we heard the recent incident, and gov't suggest to put on hamlet, grove, knee pad etc when playing those.
yes, too cold to play in the past weekend, and seems the coming weekend will be cold too...
what kind of allergy ? fish again? or something else... hope she is feeling better now...
