i'd tried one from 二記, one from a small bakery products shop in Kln City, both are good ar. but i haven't made french bread with P仔 yet.
my hubby loves my french bread so much, always asks me to encore. my son loves having it with cheese and parma ham!
my friends also said my french bread was very good and asked me for the recipe ar!
this soft french bread with cheese (recipe from charles ho) is no good. 又鞋又un!好難食. I plan to throw away the remaining (4 pcs) la! 好衰ga,而家食慣好野,接受唔到劣質少少嘅面包!!
btw, not sure if the problem caused by me putting too much 老面種? the total weight of the whole recipe is 476g, i put about 90g 老面種.
i had this problem too. but not me forgot to put the yeast, it's P仔! dunno why it did not dispense the yeast inside the pan. of course the bread finally 唔食得la

i haven't yet use P仔to make french bread. i just follow the recipe on the french bread flour packing ja. the 秘訣 is you have to spray some water before putting the bread into oven, and in the middle of baking (after about 7 min), according to 雪媽媽's recipe book.
