Ater seeing bobo's bag this morning... I have no doubt that blk is a very nice color for the WInter.... but I agree with BOBO.. It's a winter bag... perhaps too " stiff " for summer short sleeves and tank top!..but
I looks great with winter outfit ga...

this bag looks more " stiff" than ours.. so can look a less casual than ours ( threetoone, 320320 and mine)..

to conclude... I think it looks more like a " c man" bag than a " cascual" bag..
Just my opinion!

Just to let u gals know, during the process of finding the MC tote, i learned something about the price & shipping feed of Chanel boutiques:

Chanel Hawaii - The price of MC tote is more expensive, it is $2820+ $50 shipping fee... NOT USING FEDEX, but ship by USA Postal Services...

Chanel Las Vegas - The shipping fee is $150!!!

they have the bag, but i didn't take it as the high shipping fee...

So i finally got the MC tote from my SA and the shipping fee is waived!!! haa haa...

Sorry to miss your message earlier! I ended up didn't take the box home because it looks too weird to take the giant box walking through the office. What I did was to take all the stuffing and tissue paper out and then put the bag in a shopping bag to take home. Today when I asked the 阿姐 to take the box out to the trash, a 妹妹仔 staff asked if she could have the box with 殷切的眼神!!!

Of course the box was given to her la, but I wonder what she is going to do with it!

Of coruse I can understand why you gals love the bag so much!! User friendly and carefree! My co-workers were looking at the bag as I walked in and asked why I have bought so many bags lately. hehehe.... that is because of this thread and you devils ah!!! But!!! I've bought sth from the Chanel @ OT (the shop that used to only sell limited cosmetics nei........now they say is all available in all Chanel beauty counter la), say a few thousand kwar ?? I couldn't remember if I have filled in sth or not......but then I received a card from Chanel telling me that they have a small souvenir for me and have to pick up from that OT shop.........so, I got this........I didn't use it until recently as I found it OK with my black Dopod D810 ma.

Yes, the leather is stiffer than the previous exp. collection. Hope it will become softer after using for a period of time.

I am woman in black for all seasons. Always wear black and beige only for work. So black color is always on my 1st priority when buying clothing and bag.

Hi all,

I decided to buy the exp. flap. In order to feel less guilty for spending so much money in these few months, I am going to say bye-bye to my exp. tote.

The exp. tote and flap are too similar, so need to give up one bag and leave the room for another one. I bought the tote in May and just used it for a few times. I will ask the price from XXX station. If the price is no good, then I might put it up on yahoo auction.

Did you know there are CHanle boxes and paper bag for SALE in ebay??

So.. that's perhaps why lor.. hee hee (just kidding)!

of course, there are ppl who love to collect nice paper bag and boxes ga.
I always put my chanels ( or other expensive handbag) into the originally box ga.. ..
arayako, don't throw away the stuffing.. it's really important to put them back when you put the bag back intot he closet.. since HK is such a humid place.. those paper can absorb some of the moisture ga.. (aside from keeping th shape of the bag).. I love all stuffings... including shoes.. all my shoes have stuffing and the " stick" to support the shoes ga...

I still think your expandable tote is nice wor... i saw PF pics there are white expandable tote selling in the States... will u get the black expandable flap now? I saw a woman using a ex. flap at Times Square just now... wonder if she is any of us, but i doubt as we only got BoBo1 bought black color so far, right??? BoBo1 is a tall lady but the one i saw is a short one...

Blac exp. tote is my 1st Chanel and I am going to buy a new black exp. flap from Canton Road. The exp. tote is very nice bag. Soft leather and very roomy! Although my DH said I am spoiled, I don't feel right to keep 2 similar bags. So need to sell the tote.

I saw a MC tote before few months ago in HK, someone was using it... but i didn't pay attention at that time ar... it is quite big actually, may be similar to the size of baby cabas la...

I can't join the expandable flap club la as I spent too much $$$... got to wait a while after buying the Modern Chain tote... :-| :-|

People are really crazy for buying paper bag and box from auction!

I thought tissue paper is only for keeping the shape of handbag. Didn't know could keep it from the humidity. That's god ah! You really take good care of your shoes and handbags.
