My boy is now 16 month-old. I do want to send my boy to Fulful for nursery and kindergarden. But do you think the primary schools at Beveldere good??? Will you send you kid to kindergarden and primary schools in Kowloon Tong?? Is it too far away??
Is the playgroup in jolly clown good?? acutally I want to try. But by this time it is only me to speak English to him?? is that enough. At what age does the kid will jolly clown accept for playgroup?? Are there only English teachers??
Yes, 小冬冬is expensive indeed. For a one-year kid, i think it is not so worthy to try.
Actually, I'm not speaking only English to him, Cantonese also. But I'll try to speak to him in words in the daily life. Say I will ask him to "throw the rubbish", "close the door", "raise your hands", "make friends", "shake my head", "where is your hair, nose, tummy, foot, hands, nose"...
Kids are the same as the dogs. Give her/him candy (the one which is benefit to kids) or biscuits they like after they achieve the thing you want them to do. I'm sure they are very eager to learn and do because they want the candies and biscuits. They will learn very fast. It happens to my son.
My Philipilo helper is coming in these two months. And we had her interview in phone and her accent is not "so Philipilo". I hope it helps because she is the only person to speak only English with him, and it will push him to speak more English.
Do you have any comment on Funful in Discovery park? Cos it is quite near from here. $2940/month +$900 for books for nursery. With Native English teacher.
How about 學之園?? Is it expensive??? Any native English speaker there??
Do you think you kid can try a much better primary school if her/his English is good?? Though I've heard浸小 is good, but is it good because there is no any other better choice??? 荃官& 浸小 are very custom primary schools. I've heard from my colleague their kids have many many homework to do, and so many tests and assessment. You know conflict and friction between kids and parents begin when the kids go to school. Have you ever think of any school having 活動教學 (although 浸小 claims they are having 活動教學, but still many homework) , or international schools...
Actually we also want to sell my house here and rent one here in the Bayview, cos it is much cheaper to rent. But our price for sell it quite compared with the others as we spent a lot to renovate our home when we moved in. And now our home is still very new. And we like to live here Bayview as we feel that here is much neat, tidy and the management is quite good here.
