My elder son (4yrs' old) is allergic to fish (gets red and swollen lips after eating, & even drinking fish soup). Can he eat the fish oil supplement? He's very picky in food and does not have interest in eating. He's getting thinner and thinner :-(
He doesn't like drinking milk too, any other source that he can get DHA, EPA?
It's a pity that yr son is allergic to fish, which DHA, EPA is not available in other format but only fish. I am afraid he will be allergy to fish oil too.
You may consider those food that are enriched with and can consider let him have some supplements in this case.
ic :-( Which brand/type of supplement will you recommend if he can't eat fish? He just like eating carbohydrates (rice, noodles, breads) and eats very little meat and veggie  We're worried about his health...he gets one grey hair!!
He actually eats meat, egg, cheese....but small amounts. For veggie, he eats leaves only... In conclusion, the problem is that he doesn't like chewing...he'll throw up if we don't cut the meat/veggie into small sizes
He used to eat orange, apple, banana and other fruits before, but now he only eats banana and orange juice ....sigh...
Try some beans, which is very soft and you can get protein from it too.
Can modify the food texture by mixing it with other ingrdients, say make cake/pancakes using milk, cheese, egg, yogurt. Make dumplings using tofu, minced meet, veggie....
