Went to Idxx to pick up BC tonight. Then as I was paying $ and collecting the BC, my mom called to say piglet was not feeling well, nausea, wanted to urgg.

He had a YMCA class this morning, then swimming at 1pm, then another PTH class in Whampoa in the aftrenoon. Felt unwell after PTH lesson woh, v tired. And slept for 1hr then got up and said wanted to urrrgggh. (But nothing in the end.)

So yanyan took him to Evag hosp and I picked up from there.

Turned out - mild fever, and gastroenteritis (cheung wai yim). Yanyan had that 2 nights ago, now piglet's turn. AM's girl also had something similar last week.

So beware la, all kids.

But piglet wasn't feeling too badly, had some congee, then ..... PC games !
Now doing some handwriting.

Thomasland / Jap = $$$$$$$
More $$ than Sing.
And I don't like Jap - for patriotic / historical reasons.

Buddies,

I went wandering at the bookfair after work at 9pm.

Got an Oxford dictionary + $15 for a Winnie the Witch story+game CD-ROM + $15 for an CD-ROM of Oxford Literarcy Web teaching 'sh', 'wh','ch' . One could choose 1 HK$5 item or HK$15 item at your cost for every purchase of HK$100.

and 4 Chinese books for kinder kids at HK$16 each. 洞洞書, quite good for 2-4 yrs.

Only 3 packs of 6-in one Duck-Green School (only the Starter pack) series left (too easy for any of you here) at HK$15 if you buy HK$100. Then the rest is the indv. books of the diff stages of the Duck Green series at HK$5 with the same 'condition of purchase'!!

Went to the booth selling 自然故事花園1-4

Found that it almost = those avail at Sesame! Only that it is published in TW not in HK jar. So no use for me.

I pre-ordered the new issue of 智多FUN - 通識系列 1 on 中華文化, they said more would be published. only HK$66 and they would send the book to me once published in the near future. Found that the price of the whole set at bookfair is indeed dearer (HK$8xx) than when I got direct from the saleslady(HK$7xx) last year!!

I bought a copy 童書久久 too - it's about famous kids books. One can use it as index/guide for library search...

Had a flip over the GALAXY introduced by che. Good. Will target it when I buy in Greenfield store after bookfair. coz no 'jet so' to buy there. Don't want to be coolie..

And I bumped into a friend their who is an economist in TDC. I asked him for 4 free tickets to the bookfair dated for this Sunday. I can give them out ga.

Mng.... K-U dare to publish the HK version 中華字經 and developed some high-tech pen to point and read each words. There was a video showing K-U students who could read all the flashcards of 4 words woh.. But those kids look very big i.e. may be early primary. Not surprised they could read the words. Don't think it is useful to recite the words without understanding its meaning/origins!! K-U style as usual.....花巧、玩心理見$開眼 + hardsale做妹，抵打!!!!

Btw, at a TW bookstore booth, I saw the set we are longing from mainland (the book set about body- or natural science lei). The TW hardcover set comprising 12 books costs HK$17xx + but the mainland paperback set cost only RMB90 or less!!!

There is a nice japanese beef hot-pot shop at central Toyko woh... very cheap and 'all you can eat'
