yes, we recently got a mini-party at kln tong, there are 2 april 04 families staying at kln tong, i'm not sure if we'll have another gathering, but sure will let u know if we'll have one!

The indoor playground is behind the library. After passed by the library, there is a short building, I guess it is sport complex.
I know Stanley must be a paradise for mom with girls. Wing Fung is not afraid sand/beach at all, he will run around until he said "我好累啦！“ He likes to bury his feet into the sand, 熱沙浴 ？！

tpmak, AmyBB & Carrie-lala,
Wing Fung starts his school this Monday. Just one hour only, very busy...ME...snack zone..sing & play zone...toys zone...story zone...artwork zone. He does not want to leave at the end, always the last kid to go...So far so good, when I am with him.... I guess the hurdle will be on Thu, when I cannot stay at school with him. Let's see..

All,
Want to know whether your kid is using milk bottle or cup drink milk now ?
Wing Fung likes his milk bottle very much and always insist to feed by me if I am around. But recently I find he drinks very slow (he used to finish about 6oz milk in 5-8mins), sometimes takes more than 15 mins. So I encourage to finish within 10 mins then I will let him see a short story of Bob the Builder as a prize. That's work for only 1 day. After that, I lose my patient and advise him to use cup to drink. You know, the result is .....he can finish the milk within 5 mins, then he can earn his prize.

Wing Fung is not quiet and 乖 for long time la...Wing Fung is a never-stopping boy, always running around and talking. My mom-in-law said your son even cannot stop talking when eating dinner. :tongue: :tongue:

obi still drinks milk very very slowly. no matter use cup either bottle. I wish she will have good improvement later la (go to school)!

我個女對飲食都係令我頭痛, 正式仙女下凡, 不食人間食物!
現在佢飲水用杯, 不過飲奶, 就按步轉杯, 早上因為要趕番學, 一半用奶樽, 一半用杯. 慢慢會轉全用杯.
我想冇實際規定幾時轉, 早d轉, 都方便d,
可以由飲水開始.

his name is Haydn. He was born in the afternoon. I still remember it was a very sunny day.
I don't know how to put his picture on the line ! not good at PC.
I just start to use flash card with him. any experience?
Haydn speaks Eng & Cantonese. He is very active, fairly disciplined. He likes gym, dance & music, story books. All kinds of cars are his best loved ones.
Where is your girl studying? any good recommendation? at kowloon tong region? (hi, anybody there? kowloon tong zone April 04 moms?)

pls PM me for any coming gathering and sharing.

geralyn loves her bottle very much, even drinking water, she'll prefer to use bottle! i used to shift her to a sippy cup to drink milk and she just ignored me and ended up didn't drink milk, sigh...she's so stubborn...what can i do??? ?-(

Then geralyn is a few hrs older than haydn, she was born in the morning.

Humm..i may disappoint u coz basically I’m not staying in HK, I stay in Singapore, I’m here for vacation only so geralyn won’t go to school in HK, but as I mentioned there’re some mamas who are staying at Kowloon Tong and perhaps u can chit chat with them or some other mamas here too coz all of our bbs are from april 2004, no district boundary.

I used Glenn Doman’s method since geralyn was 4 moths old. Most likely I flash her cards on pc, that’s much easier for me to prepare and less burden to print and filing; however, I heard from others that the objective of GD’s method is to teach our bbs on how to read books and preferably to use physical card that way can get them used to what a book is like, and so I change to flash physical cards at home, but frankly, I’m still using pc more especially when she & I are away from home that I hardly to bring along all those physical cards to travel.

What are u flashing to haydn? Does he like it? ?-(

hi all,
does anyone know where to buy light stroller cheap and what brand is good!

i feel so hard to carry geralyn when we hang out the whole day, coz she needs to take nap in the afternoon, although she's not a big size gal, it's still very heavy when i need to carry her out! :-( anyone knows? tks!

I got the same problem when I was in HK too. That day, I carried the sleeping Sasa (2X lbs at that time!!!)to Toysrus and bought a very light stroller. I put her in and I felt so relieved.... I can still remember that feeling..... :)
It costs only HK$139. Very light, but no function at all, no over the head cover, no laying down. But, already, I was very very satisfied.
Alternatively, you may consider to buy one with laying down posture. I think it is HK$3XX from Jusco. But not as light as that one from Toysrus.
For your reference, here is a typical day schedule when we were in HK,
Morning : going out to playground, or supermarket
Lunch : at home
After lunch : Sleeping
After asleep : I go out alone to do my own shopping
Awake : milk, snack, shower
Dinner time: going out have dinner with friends/relatives.
Therefore, there is not much can do in a day and I have to take a lot of taxi to save time.
Is it possible your parents can take care of Geralyn for a long time in a day?
Hanging out the whole day with Sasa??? No Way!!!
