老實講, 我就想以不變應萬變囉~ 呢間學校搭車比較方便嘛~~~

之但係個間個户外空間又真係好多同埋好好玩...

Saw Lorraine reached the school early this morning, and listened to "story dad" attentively.

Hope Lorraine can get more sleep after you all moved back to KT.

Taking van is just as convenient as taking tram la! If yau yau is going to catholic school in later days, then better switch earlier. I remembered some Christian schoolmates got "uneasy" in Bible classes in Catholic school.

Rachel would sure miss Yau Yau then.

Do you bring yau yau to Sunday school? Rachel attended it regularly, and I think she enjoyed it (cos' she would sing some of those songs sometimes).

Hi, all mothers with child studying in N1 of SJS,

Nice to meet all of you again. My son "Hang Hang"will start his nursary class in SJS early next month. I was informed that SJS is a good kindergarden from some of you and leart that the teachers are caring and loving from some messages left on this website but I am really very worry about whether Hang Hang can adopt this nursary life easily as he still does not know how to speak.........Really do not know how the teachers communicate with him...

Just for your information, I had already got the SJS winter uniforms on 3 Nov when Hang Hang went to SJS to take photo for school card. Thus, it is puzzled for me to know that you are still waiting for it. Maybe, the number of winter uniforms are not enough for all students at this moment....

各位我都為BB報了SJS明年的nursery class,可不可以給點用家意見呀!!!! 課程、老師的情況又怎樣???
是不是好多人報架???大約幾多個人報vs幾多個學位???? interview的內容又點呢???

Welcome! Yeah, I was anxious when Rachel started schooling too, and she did have some difficult time at first. Everything turn out smoothly soon. However, you better be prepared that kids will get sick much easier than before.

Hoi Ching (another Nov bb) is adapting pretty well. I think the teachers there are patient and experienced enough to take care of a new-comer, and will update/report you daily (at the beginning) how 亨亨's doing at school. Sometimes, Ms. Chan will suggest me ways to handle problems. I heard that schoolmates are friendly and welcome new comers. If there's anything, feel free to discuss with us here too.

As for class observation, I don't have it with me now. Think you can also log-in the websites to see the circulars.

My personal comments are:

學校環境 - ONLY indoor; pretty new and clean overall

老師 - most of them are young in age, with enthusiastic to teach, caring and loving. But haven't observe class teaching yet. Will do so in early Dec

校長 - open and friendly, and loves to communicate with parents. Know each of her students well.

Communication channel - school websites with infos and photos, monthly update, on what's going on at school, including monthly menu, class schedule, etc.; SMS communication, phone and school circulars.

Extra curricular activities - pretty much, for N class there're putonghua, fun fun english, choir, playdoh, ballet, art and crafts, etc.. Even more for upper classes (check the website for more info)

Since it's a small-scale school with only 1 class in each level, seems warm and cozy. Primary school allocation - so-so.

"大約幾多個人報vs幾多個學位????" ==> about 30 students per class

"interview的內容又點呢???" ==> ask parents/care-givers about daily routines of the kid. No questions for kids. Kids just stayed there to play with the toys
