in 3/F, there's thermometer & humid measurment on the stage. instructor can see the measurment & control the panel accordingly ar.

Hi Hi,

all living yoga's fans, 你地有無上過新來果 d instructor 的堂呢?? i mean 例如 yogesh. mandy 的 sivananda yoga 又係 mug 來 ka. 你地知唔知呀??

因為我家下大肚, 如果出到去只上一堂 pre-natal, 好似有 d side, 但又唔知佢地教得好唔好. pls give some comments/ suggestions to me la.....

我未上過佢地d堂,不過好似有bb都可以上hatha 1...其實你可以打去問吓advisor,佢地應該會答都你
又或者你上pre-natal時,問吓個instructor咪得

Sivananda Yoga在香港一般稱為"雪山派"。結合五項特定的鍛鍊方法:適當的運動、呼吸、 深度放鬆、素食,以及正面思考和冥想。每一課都有既定的進程,包括呼吸練習、拜日式、12 個傳統瑜伽姿勢以及放鬆練習。而在課堂開始及結束時,都會有短簡的頌唱和祈禱的

[size=medium]sivananda yogafollows a set structure that includes breathing, classic asanas, relaxation, as well as principles of diet and positive thinking.

[size=medium]Sun salutation is mostly to be practiced:

One round of Sun Salutation consists of two sequences, the first leading with the right foot in positons 4 and 9, the second leading with the left. Keep your hands in one place from positons 3 to 10 and try to co-ordinate your movements with your breathing. Start by practicing four rounds and gradually build up to twelve rounds.

1,Stand erect with feet together and hands in the prayer position in front of your chest. Make sure your weight is evenly distributed. Exhale.

2,Inhaling, stretch your arms up and arch back from the waist, pushing the hips out, legs straight. Relax your neck.

3,Exhaling, fold forward, and press your palms down, fingertips in line with toes - bend your knees if necessary.

4,Inhaling, bring the left (or right) leg back and place the knee on the floor. Arch back and look up, lifting your chin.

5,Retaining the breath, bring the other leg back and support your weight on hands and toes.

6,Exhaling, lower your knees, then your chest and then your forehead, keeping your hips up and your toes curled under.

7,Inhaling, lower your hips, point your toes and bend back. Keep legs together and shoulders down. Look up and back.

8,Exhaling, curl your toes under, raise your hips and pivot into an inverted "V"shape. Try to push your heels and head down and keep your shoulders back.

9,Inhaling, step forward and place the left (or right) foot between your hands. Rest the other knee on the floor and look up, as in position 4.

10,Exhaling, bring the other leg forward and bend down from the waist, keeping your palms as in position 3.

11,Inhaling, streach your arms forward, then up and back over your head and bend back slowly from the waist, as in position 1.

12,Exhaling, gently come back to an upright position and bring your arms down by your sides.

yeah.... before went to work
i have not tried, don't know ar..... join yoga therapy lesson only

on 12 sept i went to see doctor, injection at the lower back area, actually i got pain from lower back area to tail bone area, up to yesterday, lower back area is 90% ok, but tail bone area no good, so i went to see doctor again, injection at the tail bone area, after the injection, reduce 90% pain, the doctor advised me to be 'super careful', this is the last injection for me lu

professor advised me not to do sun salutation until my pain fully gone, Ashutosh advised me to do cat & child pose twice a day for 10 minutes with closed eyes, it works

instructor said he had seen lots injury occured while members practicing yoga & inexperienced instructors "helps" (like ur case). so he asked thousand times not to force ourself & lots instructors are very aware to go through all around members during going into the postures.

instructor also suggested us to practice core stranght such as pilates or sit up . he said why ppl easy to get hurt bcoz core muscle is not strong enough to protect ur spine.

i trained my core strength during hatha class by indian teacher in pure, he did a lot of core exercise during classes, double than other teacher, similar to power class, my accident happen in not enought warm up and "help" with a inexperienced teacher.... :-( :-(

呢個呼吸法對上堂時做meditation / breathing exercise 都好有幫助的, 呢個呼吸法會停止腦部走雜念出黎架, 令你聽你個心講多過聽你個腦講

我而家想份保險單減價, 佢要我介足一年後, 然後先可以去驗尼古叮, 驗到無先可以減價, 尼古叮無論多與少都係致癌物質

just finished hatha 1, somtimes go back to try fundamental course is good for us to revise some basic technique.

now waiting for body sculpt & jelly dance.
1st time to try dancing course, dunno can i follow .

strange how come i can attend class during office hr? sick leave today ar!

held for some time 可以加強我地既骨質密度, 防止骨質疏鬆, 叫救命都叫救多幾次先好放棄, 最好就當然係叫到老師話release啦....最多係攰d, 唔會要人抱出門口既....

係呀, 我之前上開 hatha 2, 過到黎上 yoga therapy & hatha poorna & satyananda, 改正左好多 fundamental 都做得唔好既pose
