my holiday was o.k la, i bought lots of things, but didn't go to many places~not as many as Jelly. i had a hair cut and high light, bought a pair of new glasses. bought some masks, you know, the facials here is useless!the most important thing is i bought some bird's nest and brought it here troubless. it is illegal to bring bird's nest to UK, i was very scare ga.
also, brought lots of baby chinese books/ copy books for Trevor to learn chinese.by the way, if you (other H.K mums) have any unwanted kindergarten's chinese books, could you kindly give/sell them to me please? as i don't live in london, and i don't drive, it is not easy to find a chinese school for them, so i try to teach them chinese on my own.

yes er, nowadays, many things are illegal to bring to UK-very trouble!- everytime my 99 go back to Hong Kong, she post lots of things back such as chinese sausage, chinese mushrooms, salted fish...... everytime she was success to post those illegal things, but the postage is very very expensive.she is still doing this, maybe for old people, these illegal food are very important for them.my son loves chinese sausages, my 99 post lots for him as well.
i speak cantonese to my children, and buy many cantonese cantoon for them.Trevor has no problem in speaking n listening, but now he is 4 and a half, i try to teach him some writing.not easy for him ga.
do you have any suggestions in teaching him writting
which words did you teach? i taught him to write "people", "mouth" only ja. :-( already not easy la!
