我第一次來這個會，希望可以跟大家交流一下仔女學琴的心得！　請大家多多指教！

我女兒今年小一，學琴３年．今年校際報了１１０，
１４５和 treble voice solo. 兩隻歌剛學識彈．我希望讓她到Heidi老師１０�２的音樂會觀摩一下．　　可請Heidi媽代為購票嗎？　　謝謝！

If my memory is correct, we talked in another thread before and your son is playing Grade 7 and Sonatina in the coming Music Festival ? Hope I will have a chance to hear him play.

Thanks for the complement, but my daughter is not outstanding amongst the APA students. She is just lucky to have been guided by some very good teachers.

I read here that your daughter is similar age to my daughter and she loves playing piano. It's a pity that I cannot watch her in the 10/2 concert. What songs are she playing in the Music Festival ?

I read here that you guys go concert together to expose your kids to good music. Do you attend the free APA piano concert on Friday at 6:30pm ? There are some excellent performance from time to time, depending on who is playing. For example, I enjoy watching Rachel Cheung close up in the small recital hall rather than at the Cultural Centre. For tonight, a talented 7.5 years old girl of the Pre-Junior (Wong Wai Yuen) is playing a number of pieces (including Bach, Chopin, Mozart Sonata) which should be interesting and good learning opportunities for the kids.

Many junior students play the Music Festival pieces in the APA Friday piano concert and Saturday junior concert in January and Feb.

The programme for tonight's Friday concert sounds attractive! I will certainly bring my kids to go there sometime in future.

Is there any means to know the programme of the concerts in advance? Thx!

Hi Heidi 媽:

The programme is posted outside the Music Office of APA on the 2/F, facing the lift. There are all kinds of concerts mainly by students, western or chinese music, string, keyboard, brass, etc. You may also call the Music Office (tel : 2584 8644) or the APA reception (tel : 2584 8500) for enquiry.

I may post the concert programme here from time to time.

Tickets are given out half hour before the concert. For popular concerts, you may have to queue up 15 minutes earlier. One ticket per person only. In case you do not get a ticket, you can line up at the concert hall entrance and they will allow admission if there are empty seats (ticket holder will not be admitted in case they are late and their seats filled).

Good opportunities for kids to learn about good and bad performance (反面教材) as some students do not play that well !!

James (my elder boy) and I quite enjoyed the performances by one Dennis Tam, a Junior Music student who played Haydn's Sonata and one Stephanie Fung, Professional Dip.2 who played Chopin's Ballade.

Next Thursday's (2 Feb) recital will be performed by one Zhao Ning. Do you know who is she/he?
