Great to learn that you are enjoying your trip! Forgive my ignorance --- I have no idea where Sorrento is, so I looked up the web. It seems to be a quiet cosy little town, great for "honeymoon", isn't it?
I can't help thinking about Laura Fygi --- "What are doing the rest of your life...." Ooh, so relaxing, so romantic
What is your next stop then? Little Blythe, how many pizzas did you have up till now?
Please keep us posted. Miss you much!
And thanks to the internet
Sorrento is an elegant little town in the southern part of Italy. I don't see much couples here for honeymoon but definitely it is a very popular and developed tourist town.
Yestersday we climbed Mount Versuvius, the volcano that caused the end of Pompeii. It's amazing that there are lots of "kwai fa" around that area. So it smells really good. It's very beautiful too. I'll show you pictures later when I'm back.
Weather is great here too. Sunset at around 8:15, so we have plenty of time to hang around. Today we're going to a picturesque route to see some little towns in an area called Amalfi Coast. If Jelly searches this name from the Internet, you will surely find lovely pictures that make you think of paradise!!And tommorrow we'll going to Capri, a heavenly island in the Bay of Naples.
I just type a page and it disappeared. So I'll be brief now.
You don't have to feel shameful for not knowing this place. Cos it's just a very small little town in the southern part of Italy. Most famous thing about it is a song called Come back to Sorrento (Torna a Sorrento in Italian) Tidy and well developed, very comfortable and lovely place. Weather is great here. Sunset at eight thiry. Shops at tourist areas stay open till ten!!!
We climbed the volcano Mt Versuvius yesterday. There are lots of "Kwai Fa" at the bottom. So it smells really good as we climbed up.
The day before when we visited the ruins at a town called Ercolano, Blythe fell on the ground and had some scratches on her palms and knees. She cried a bit and most unhappy of all was that it's her new pants and she loved it. Now there's a hole on it. We compensated her lost by awarding an extra gelato -ice-cream in Italian. We have already tried 16 flavours already. Some are really interesting, like water melon, fig, nutella and banana.
We'll visit an area called Amalfi Coast today and the island Capri tomorrow. They are both very picturesque places.
Glad to see your message. From the words in the message, I can imagine how beautiful pictures or views that you see and the smells of "KWAI FA" is really really good. Also, I believe you must very enjoy your holiday, then you must take many many photos to share with us. OK! Waiting your photos and feeling. Miss you TOO!
