Marco Polo HK reply my C6 about the function.
The manager told him that that is a lady asking same thing wor.... haha~

Anyway, the manager told my C6 that the ballroom can cater 300 around people. The min charge is $46,200 (included 10%)

Time: 12:00 - 16:00 (4hr)
Menu: lunch menu

My C6 now asking to use Tea buffet menu and extend the time from 11:00 - 16:00 (5hr)

As his company is going to organize annual dinner in Marco Polo next year, I think he can get something better~

Beside, my c6 hold the place tentatively on 11/1/09.

He told that if we not hold any place, it will be very trouble if no place can find later. It really doesn't matter! He always hold and release the ballroom.

非常謝謝各位的酒店資料!
(有價錢, 有人數, 有食乜等已好足夠)
特別鳴謝viandes 及佢蝦仔餅的pm報價

由於人數眾多, 可能要book間大啲又貴啲的酒店,

我哋都明白到2009年1月的期會好爆.

但因為價錢貴咗,
可能有啲mama 會唔去或會Cut人(由4A => 2A)
所以一切仲未能落實
(如人數減少, 可以BOOK一間稍平的)
固此不用MARK定某間酒店.

請相信我們的義工MAMA,
佢哋會自行打電話去QUOT價 (妳們提供的,都會QUOT)

我哋都仲有幾多選擇,
遲啲會發POST 去投票的,
到時再投妳們心水的某酒店
OK

請不要介意我直接POST 出來,
因為我想透明度高點, 唔想誤會以為我們為威喂玩哂.

lam_yoki 及 jdhwangmom 妳哋好.
由於妳們的參加的No#比較後, 可能是waiting list.
所以我唔敢咁快要妳哋幫手
怕真的冇得去, 那就唔公平了
(但mama們努力中.)

我們希望統籌能propose個 Planning, 而必須細緻少少.
主要是做有關場務: (如張藝謀咁, 做場good show)

如場地的主題, 自己找資料, 佈置 (當然要視察場地啦)
看看有什麼必須要做, 但又做漏咗呀, 幾時要交貨等
當然佢是一個大打雜 (欠乜做乜)

仲要人哋欠乜,佢要做乜
所以我們沒人想做

Yes, is I called marco polo again, to get their proposal by email, any problem?

but then hotel rejected to give me as your husband called already and they don't want to give double send the same proposal.

I need all proposal on hand in case any mamies asked me to send them a copy~

So final confirm is min charge 46200 to book the room? as before you said is HK$198 net @

I sent u the menu tonight and forward the email to you then. Please pm me ur email.

As my c6 say, the room min. charge is $46,200. It doesn't mean $46,200 share by the number of people ma~

The tea buffet menu price is $198, so if we have 240 pax on hand, total expenses will be $47,520. It meet the min. charge~ ^___^

if we accept 240 adults, that means we will have about 120 babies (assume 1 family 3 ppl), together we will have 360 ppl at the ballroom? nearly 30 round tables, will it be too crowded?

that's why I calculate only 200 ppl + 100 babies = 300 ppl, and 46200/200 = 231HKD

And babies not really a "full" pax ma~

We can ask hotel to provide the floor plan.

If use 200 people to divided the min charge, it will be a bit not fair because "why I need to paid the extra money as the menu is only $198".

I think the target now is not to excess too much! last time is $140@, now is almost $60 more. If you just cater 200 people (it cost $231), it was $91 more. It might loss some joiner potentialy.

Our view la~

One thing important, if we can find sponsor, the problem can be solve like last time (return $40). However we've got nothing now! So we better make some "backup" plan/place.

ok, thanks; in fact it depends on what the put on the base. (# of tables, or # of people)

btw, have you visit the venue? as I have gone there for friends' wedding year ago, they have 25 tables and what we think is too crowded, not sure if they got any adjustment recently.

we have already put your proposal on list and now just awaiting 2 more hotels from helpers, then we will have a quite vote on WHICH hotel we go.

PS: last time we have extra money deduct because hotel made some mistakes and they offer additional discounts, seems not becuase we find sponsor in CASH basis?!
