Hi Jokey,
My Indonesian maid's contract is ending on 25 July 05. I have just signed new contract with her thro' the agent 2 weeks ago. I have bought her air ticket back home for 2 weeks in early Sept when my little boy goes to P.1 when I will take leave from work for looking after him. Her passport expires in April 06 and the agent said she needs to get half day off for renewing the passport now because renewal takes 2 months. I can only take leave at end June to take care of my little boy for the day and the agent said it's too late. I doubt it because my friend's agent said renewal only take 2 weeks. What should I do? Thanks a lot.

My current one leaving 30/Aug or 12/Sep.

I have 1 boy (4 yrs old), 1 girl (22 mons) the boy is naughty & in K2 starting from Sep 05.

requirements: patient & love children;very independent, self starter as no supervision during day time, grocery shopping, cooking, housework...everything.

responsible: esp. punctual in waiting for the boy from the school bus after school & taking the girl to playgroup twice a week.

My 2 honeys :> Ernie born on 6 Feb 01 Nicole born on 28 July 03

Maybe you can ask her to pay for the ticket fees first, and then you promise to pay her back $$ after she come back .hope can help[quote]

我個印印出年1月約滿，一早已講好會同佢續約。
佢今日問我可唔可以比佢提早今年11月放假返鄉下，因為佢表妹結婚(佢地感情好好)。對我黎講係ok 冇問題，因為 11 月淡季，機票平過一月，有著數添。但

1) 唔知咁做有冇抵觸法例？
2) 係咪應該要續左約先比佢走，定返黎再續約？
3) 如果11月放左假，到續約/續Visa 時係咪要再比佢放過？
4) 搵您幫手搞續約，費用多少？要比乜野文件您？要提前幾耐比您？

我家印印剛完成2年合約, 并已決定續2年約, 因佢唔會即時返家鄉, 故只批1年visa, 想問僱主我是否可帶佢返大陸回來便多1年visa (合共2年), 如是, 即日來回可唔可以, 定要過夜.

我奶奶家有個用左10年既bunbun, 佢只須上午係奶奶家做野, 而不嬲都係另外比錢佢出去住(好似$2000). 最近我開始考慮要請工人, 佢同我講不如下午黎同我做, 只要比地方佢住. 而奶奶會照舊比果$2000佢.

對我既考慮係佢做左10年都唔差,我怕請個新既又唔知好唔好, 又要由頭教過. 但想知係未唔even比我多d人工,bunbun 都唔可以做2個地方?

如果我打算請過個新既, 要幾耐時間? 約幾多手續費?

我會同個菲提早解約(原本今年6/12約滿),接著會轉佢去我姑奶家開始新contract,入境處話要佢回菲4-6weeks,想問:
(1)她是否一定要回菲才可再來港開新contract;
(2)我有乜要準備(如回程機票,假期錢等);
(3)終止合約信內容點寫(想由1/8唔要佢,之前已放了7天假,每月7號出糧).

I confirmed to hire a finished contract indonesian maid (referred by friend). The Yin Yin said her original passport & contract are kept by the old agent so she would like me to sign contract with her old agent. However, I'd like to change to another agent (with cheaper fee).

1. Can I insist the Yin Yin to collect the original passport & contract from the old agent?
2. Do you think the new agent can help in this matter?
3. Can I hire the Yin Yin without the help of agent? What's the procedures for completing the immigration & consulate documents for hiring Yin Yin?

***urgent need help!

Dear Jokey,

Would you please help me out, I have questions about hiring a new phil maid and I don't know the
agent because my last agent was so bad so I am afraid i got a bad one again with my luck ha ha ha!
#1, is there anything i should ask the agent before i pay for the fees
#2, can i add things on the contract like no cell phone allow in the house exc.
#3, no sunday off
