I have also bought a pair of ball 鞋 from Dr Kong for my bbchu to go to school. It costs 199 which is much cheaper than the black shoes. Both me and their sales think that it is more comfortable than the 皮鞋. You may consider it if Roes's school is ok with the ball 鞋. FYI, it has colors of complete white / white and little pink which most of the nursery would accept.
Actually apart from the money, it is really good, in terms of 軟硬度 and protection. But I have the same consideration as you : just wear for several months with 3hrs each 'weekday.
Kidbuster is another good choice and even not worse than Dr. Kong, also in terms of 軟硬度 and protection. My baby wears this brand for more than half year and she likes it very much. You may consider it but as I know, they are "changing season". Most old style are 斷碼 but new style not yet available (in Wing On store as at last week)
