1) shangri-la's tanjung aru
2) the megellan sutera

As I think this two hotel near city.

I hold a package by Malaysia airline in Wincastle but then confirmed the Dragonair package via another agent as Wincastle had not announced any Dragonair package.

Apart from the roundtrip transfer btwn airport & hotel, do your package incl Sabah city tour & high tea? I have to make my own arrangement :(

It costs $3690 for 5d4n per 1 adult (excl tax), how about yours?

其實你攞完行李,一出機場門口就已經有3間bank可以唱錢ka la!所以唔駛擔心 不過,間間bank個rate都唔同,但相差唔係太遠

personally, I liked STAR more,

I think the swimming pool (for kids) is much bigger and more beautiful, the room also good and big, the kid's playroom is free of charge, the buffet "dim sum" is cheap and good, RM 35 per person, kids under 12 is free for food in the hotel, the beach in the hotel is much bigger than Megellan,

BUT , megellan is nearer to downtown, free shuttle to downtow, (you have to paid RM 4 for the shuttle in STAR).

BUT more bk mami said that megellan is better.

My package from Wincastle costs $3,690/adult & $2,099/child (excl. tax & fuel surcharge). $900 per extension night at hotel. It comes with transportation btw. airport & hotel + (so called) city tour on arrival + high tea + complimentary buffet dinner. I booked the package almost on the day CX announced this take-a-break offer cos I've been calling Wincastle every now & there for price on Dragonair, but eventually I found it on CX website first!

I am going to sabah in the coming easter holidays, can you give me some advices on:
1. Does there any lockers in outlying islands such as Manukan? Any restaurants in the islands?
2. Any 7-Eleven in the town?
3. Can I buy the prepaid sim card mobile phone such as hotlink in the town?
4. Have you try the safe box in the hotel? is it ok for safety, I would like to leave the passports in the safe box?

中午到步 -> 安排day2-5節目 -> city tour -> 出town食海鮮

day 2-4
神山公園
出島玩
睇long nose monkey + fire flies
(一日一樣）

day 5
enjoy hotel facilities
fly back to HK in the evening

My plan is like this :
Day 1
Arrival > check-in hotel > book tours > dinner at downtown

Day 2
Island tour (not sure if only Sapi and/or Marukan)

Day 3
Husband golf
Me & kids relax at hotel
Monkey & firefly in the afternoon & evening

Day 4
River rafting (if I find a good babysitter for my daughter)

Day 5
May go to Nexus for horseback riding & long beach
Return to HK in the evening
