Don't laugh at me la... i think the Birkin will be quite heavy and not a comfortable bag to carry... if we buy it, just for the sake of owning this signature bag in our life-time of being a woman ...

That's what my hubby told the sales at "xx station" that i like to shop at Chanel store more, so the sales didn't continue to ask my hubby to buy the Coco Cabas bag la... hee hee!

I also consider the "comfortable" factor in buying handbag even the style and brand is very attractive... before i used Mulberry, i felt too heavy and not easy to get things... so i sold all of them la...

but i still want to own a Birkin in my life-time even it is not a comfortable bag, just for the sake of owning it... this is the nature of women .. haa haa

so expensive... i rather buy a Birkin instead if i am willing to pay $60K for a handbag... but still, i won't buy Birkin until 10 years from now.. haa haa!

Yes, I call my SA in Saks and made the order, pay via credit card, they then send via DHS to me. It costs US $1995 + shipping fee $60. But, it's really difficult to get one, I've contacted different SAs in Neiman Marcus and Norstorm as well. If you really want one, I can give my SA's phone no to you. Please let me know.

It's good that you have a SA at Saks.... I do have someone I know .. but he's the SA at Chanel Store... but I'm sure you know the buyers at Neiman, Saks are more conservative so they do not have all the neat stuff stores carry...
when I bought my tri color... I did call Saks and Neiman or Bloomindales... and they said they will not have it.....
BTW, did you come back from the States??? If yes, Where? me too... I'm back for just 3 years... that's why I'm so excited to go back this Sunday.....

Anyway, did you guys know what I saw 2 days ago?? A shoulder Birkin at Canton rd Hermes..... CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?????
It was a Dusty Greyish color.. so I didn't buy it... the Sales said sometimes ( maybe 1-2 times/year) they will have 1 or 2 Birkin for Sale.....it was $68000.....
I really love it... just that I didn't like the color...
