I've told piglet that Logico will be part of his summer hols homework, if he doesn't want to attend a short course re concentration.
So my L-P and simpl Chin L will not be wasted.

The T rack was heavier than I thought,
OK at first, but quite diff to manage at the end of a 10-min walk.
I still need to take mine back home.

Wanna seek your advice.....

I'm thinking to go to LA this summer (may be on last week of June for 8 days), want to go to Legoland, Disneyland, Universal Studio,..., but I've no idea on the itin, how to book tickets, which hotel to stay, where to buy cheap packages....etc

Would you pls help!!!

See if you want to buy the South Calif Pass
I think you should stay in LA for the few days you go to Univ Studio, Hollywood, Disneyland.
Then stay near Legoland for Legoland and San Diego.

TTM was vvvv satisfied with her hotel.

And while you are in LA or Disneyland,
shop in the Lego shop,
and see if you can get a free entry ticket for Legoland.

If you go in end-June,
I think my T-mobile sim card is still valid.
See if you want to borrow it, and at the end of your stay top up for me so that I can use it if and when I go to SF ?LA / L-land again. :lol

In case your hubby won't be driving and you need public transport from LA ==> XXX

I use this one for going from

Airport ==> hotel (in D-land)
(I just find the cab outside the LA airport ga ja.)

Hotel (in D-land) ==> Airport.
(Pre-book while still in the hotel)

btw, can you recommend the hotel (TTM's favorite?) in LA?

As I don't have mileage to redeem air ticket, do you know where can I buy the package (air-ticket + hotel + transport etc) at reasonable price?

As I really have no idea on where is where (Legoland, Disneyland, Universal Studio...), can you also recommend itin for me pls?

You should fly from HK ==> LA ==> HK
LA = Universal Studio, Hollywood
so you need LA hotel,
then go on day trips to D-land (max 2 days shuold be enough) (return to LA hotel to sleep)
then move to hotel in L-land area,
and go on day trips to L-land and San Diego.
Then leave your L-land area hotel and go straight to LA airport.

ie the cities are located along the highway in the following sequence :
LA ==> Anaheim (D-land) ==> Carlsbaad (L-land) == San Diego

Take a look at a map.

Ask TTM about her itin and package / 自由行.

Entry tickets to every "attraction" can be booked either from your hotel, or at the gate, or you can choose to buy some sort of N-day passes or the South Calif Pass, depending on how many days you decide to go where.
Same for local transport.

So I need to find 2 hotels --> 1 in LA and the other in Legoland.

Actually I prefer 自由行, that means I only need to confirm air ticket and hotel, then I can design my own trip.

If it's too troublesome, I may consider joining HK tour, but seems no tour will go for Legoland!!

What can we play at San Diego pls?

Exactly !

And it is easy to book transport + get entry tickets to Legoland.
So concentrate on the LA side 1st.

Actually if you buy a package that incl Univ Studio and D-land, the "tour" will just drop you at the gate of Univ Studio and D-land on those few days, and you go around by yourself and meet at X pm at the gate again. So not much of a guided tour.

It sounds great, you are going to LA this summer, I believe KV must love all the theme parks very much. Have you booked the air tickets yet ? Don't think the price of package should be good, so you should buy the air ticket and the hotels separately.

Re : Hotel in Legoland
Grand Pacific Palisades Resort & Hotel
It's a new hotel was opened at last April/May, it's very closed to Legoland. I booked it thru the legoland website, the room prices look like the seafood prices. It seems quite hot during July.

I think you can get the free entry ticket L-land from other states of Lego shops, must not in LA shop ! It just the gimmick !
