Yes, I agree with you. That's why I am prepared for the worst to get rid of my queen. I really feel 受氣 everyday seeing how more 老馮 she is getting, some classics are:

1. 晚飯時托出蒸好的肥美大倉魚但魚已被她先行夾走魚腩 (you can imagine that she can cut 1/4 of BD cake away when she brings out one for candle blowing!!!!)

2. 大意忘記餵藥比Bee，話以為我喂左。 (我拿出來提了她要餵兼做record比我睇，都係賴！)

3. 不時按時餵藥，一時6個鐘—時4個鐘，重博咀話我地帶bee去睇惡人谷亦一樣不按時食藥(問題係佢無幫我地pack最後一次藥出街!)

4. 用埋我地的hand wash detergent 洗佢d衫，但我地衫就機洗(我最近送左包白貓比佢用，以後她要自費。)

5. 講左無做，就賴唔記得、誤會左我意思或話漏做都唔奇！

These are only a few examples.. I think I cannot bear with her any more though she cooks delicious food and is okay to bee (though definitely not excellently).

She is now 45. Maybe she thinks she still have good chance to get employed??

Even if you've got her resignation letter, your maid can also go to Labour Dept complaining that she's forced to sign the letter..... so it may not work!

My yanyan has been with us for nearly 6y,
and getting a bit lo-fung too
eg when we were in USA, she would go out and "do exercise" with a nearby yanyan friend from 9pm - midnight, just inform Big Pig.

But in front of us (eg me, cos I hand her the pay, $ for shopping) she would not eat all the best parts of the fish/beef/fruit/cake/food. She knows that we will let her have her share anyway ga la, and is by nature not as greedy as bunbuns. And she has to keep fit / slim

.
So I still intend to renew contract with her in late Oct.
(altho I think she da-fu-tau but not tooooo lei po).
Last week my mum told her to buy 4 crabs, in the end my mom could only finish 1, and she yanyan eat 1. So I told her, in future pls ignore my mum's order and buy 2 crabs, i.e.1 each, as Big Pig piglet and myself are not interested.

香港d賓妹又真係幾"大支野" 同"老馮"架.... 尤其係做得耐果d!! :tongue: :tongue:

其實我屋企果個都係成日駁嘴駁舌又唔認錯，我好耐之前(Kv 仲係好細果時)都同佢吵過好多鑊，都好想即刻踢佢走！你問佢係咪想唔撈，佢會好吋咁話: "It's up to you!"

不過我知我賓妹其實都幾錫Kv, 但自尊心極重唔鍾意人話佢，咁我盡量用 soft tone 叫佢做野，仲要唔該前唔該後，佢就好 happy，少咗好多不愉事件啦！其實賓妹都幾易氹，佢覺得 happy 就做野都落力d!

我依家個賓妹都就黎完第3個 contract 啦！

不過你果個又真係幾為食，食晒阿 mum 嘅食物！

有冇同佢講過你唔鍾意佢咁？以後你負責分餸俾佢食會唔會好少少？

至于餵阿bee食藥，佢咁大懵就真係要自己跟足d，俾多幾個追魂 call 佢架啦！

PS. 其實你講嘅 incidents 都發生過喺我地身上 ...唉!! 不過佢有人質在手，我地只好盡量睇開d.... 其實你好過我好多，起碼個賓煮野好食，我果個就 ....

I feel better after reading your sharing. Actually, all the rules were there in the outset. She just changed it 'silently' and bet that we would not state it out.

I had gone through all the rules to her again to avoid her excusing herself forever. Will pick a maid tomorrow. For the time being, to bear with her for 2 more months and to comfort myself that I will have a new maid (a hope for one at least) soon. I think having a humble maid is quite important as we are have to cope with so many things away from home. And most importantly, I need someone who have more patience and energy to play with / teach bee when I am in office. My queen is too old to do this job conscienciously. Keep my fingers crossed!!!

Your maid is more smart and independent and it seems that she could manage the basics well enough. No need to remind her again on basics. My case is not quite tolerable as she is even not doing the basics well.

REad that one of the 8 As- holders watched TV for 5 hours and slept 10 hours during the HKCEE period. He is really 'powerful' -> so lazy but still get such results. From St Paul...

Re organic vegetables, want to have a try. Quite a good idea. Like pick in the morning, eat in the evening. So fresh!

I would like to share some experience in buying organic pork here. Months ago, I saw that there was a stall called 巴庫豬 in Seiyu which claimed it's got ISO certification and the pigs were reared with no hormones, organic farming, their fam in Yuen Long...... The price is not cheap either. Triple the price of local Park'n Shop or Wellcome. But for the sake of health, we have bought our pork there since then. Until recently, less pigs were exported to Hong Kong from PRC. Since then, no more 巴庫豬 is available in Seiyu. So, I wonder why?? It is so coincident? Probably, I may have been cheated. Such 巴庫豬 may come from PRC and the claims earlier were lies.

I bought from her before (my yummy glutinous corn supplier) and also bought some vege. But there are similar org vege suppliers in Kln City so no need to go so far.
The vege is really very fresh, her mum grows them in Tun Mun area. So if the delivery location is OK can consider buying ga.

Cheap TaoBao bks
A lot of publishers print their books in China, so most probably.....

as long as you don't let the maid know that you are not going to have any maid, there's no need to pay the severance/redundancy payment.

Hope you can find a good maid! By the way, if the agent is good, I would like to have the details also. My maid has been working for me 2.5 years, she is good e.g honest, hard working, not greedy however, she cannot make judgement and need to always ask me, e.g. whether today can do the laundry or not since it's raining. She cooks well but always cooks the same things unless I tell her. Most important of all, she has no confidence to take care of my girl even though she is 6 and not a baby.
